Michelle is terrific. She's warm and witty, smart and stylish, loves her husband, her kids and her country--just the kind of person you'd want as First Lady to reflect the values of America! I hope people get to see lots more of her so these false charges against her will dry up and be swept away by the truth.

Malia sounds like the wisest little kid! You can tell a lot about parents from their kids, especially when the children are little. A girl that humorous and down-to-earth is a good sign for any family.

I'm from the suburbs of Chicago, but I DO know that the south side is...well...not exactly the ideal place to live. There's a lot of crime and poverty, and I think it's great that Michelle Obama has shown the world that you can come from the ghetto, and with hard work and dedication...you may become the next first lady of the United States of America.

This is the first time that I have heard Michelle Obama speak at length on a variety of issues and I must say that I am impressed. This lady is classy.

Michelle was protecting her identity not looking for a new one. She was great on THE VIEW and I knew that she would be. I am very proud of how well she has held her head up despite the negativity that has been thrown at her. People should learn to respect this CLASSY LADY and not choose to hate on her.

I never watch The View (EH rubs me the wrong way) and I'm pretty busy caring for our twin boys. BUT because Michelle was on this show, I took the chance and time to watch it. AND I am so glad I did! I saw Michelle's speach a few times before and watch "this". She always impresses me with her high level of self-awareness, wit, listening well to what others in conversation ask her. To be honest, I haven't seen a woman or a person for a while who has such a wisdom and wit. I do believe she has lots of qualities required for the US First Lady!! I learn many things from her.

I'm totally voting for Obama and I truly believe he's going to win. I'm only in my early 20s and I never thought there would be a black president in my lifetime. This is a very exciting time in America. I think Obama will do great things for our country.

Remember, even though he might be inexperienced, he has a LOT of potential, which means he can learn fast and do a lot more than we may even think. He's young and he can even see what the issues are with the later generations, his generations, and the upcoming generations. I have faith in Obama, he's getting my vote.

You better believe that each one of the candidates or candidates' wives came in with a list on that show. I don't know why you think that is strange or isolated to this case only. It would have not been fair if Hasselback jumped on Michelle's case about some hot topic issues, just like it would have not been fair if Behar jumped on Cindy McCain about John McCain issues. I think all of the ladies showed a lot of poise in interviewing those two ladies.

As a young educated black woman fighting to further my education in graduate school at this very minute, I appreciate Michelle Obama so much. I am so happy to see a woman of color like this in the spotlight. What a role model for my nieces!

Alan Fram of the AP just wrote on Yahoo: that Michelle took flak in February when she said she was proud of her country "for the first time in my adult life." We are in July and the Media are still mis-quoting her speech! What gives!?!
