I'm watching this on September 16, 2019. I want to remember a great day for our country watching Barack Obama accepting the nomination for President of the United States all the way to him being elected and his victory speech.

Im watching this in 2019 11th March after reading Michelle Obamas book BECOMING.Such an eloquant and most eceptional speech from a highly intelligent woman.I only wish she contest for presidency in 2020

I suddenly burst into tears. How do you think It would feel if you get a huge round of applause and respect from millions of people? It's amazing that they have a power to inspire people, lead people and to be a great human being.

This woman is just wow in every way shape and form. Reading her book and having gone to this moment in time where you feel what she felt before the speech. She worked so hard to prepare for this moment. She got it all right from this point on.

Joe reaction is priceless. 10:50. Wow! After an intense primary battle, she give HRC credit. That's class. And HRC did even more - shows class as well. Dignity and Mutual respect for foes and friends. That way, foes become friends. Exhibit A: HRC and POTUS working and campaigning together.

Watching this as I’m almost done reading her book! She’s so amazing and inspirational!

i love the speech she gave. it shows how it doesn't matter what background you come from, what color you are, or who ur family is, you can make it to the top as long as you work hard. you can tell she was telling it all from the heart. it's really encouraging to see something like that.

there's an amazing consistency in what she said back in 2008 and what she and President Obama stand for and say in 2012.

This is one of the best speeches I've ever had the privilege to listen to.

So glad i made it pass the first few chapters of Becoming because I am fully addicted to the book from the moment she met Obama. Now im just addicted to watch all the videos about them!

"They'll tell them how this time we listened to our hopes instead of our fears!" That line always brings me to tears and I must have watched it more than 10 times. I think only the truth can do that to you!

This is one of the best speeches that a first lady has ever given in the history of America, in my opinion. She is truly a remarkable women, one that is courageous and supportive to not only her husban but to humanity.In essence, she is an inspiration to women of all races. She shows a lot of genuine compasssion for children. Lastly,her delivery of speech was one with victory in mind. She never criticized anyone, instead; she embarked on global change.

Best female political speech ever that too by a apolitical one.

This woman is such a huge inspiration. These were straight up facts. I miss the Obama's.

i remember watching this in 2007 when I was 12 years old for an assignment in middle school. the same points i wrote in my notebook then still resonate with me in hearing this now at age 25, more than ever. to hear the stories of family struggle and how i could see a president raised in similar family structures as myself and who came from struggle opened my eyes. i thank my middle school teacher, mrs ifland.

Such grace our 1st Lady has. God Bless our 1st family and our POTUS!

I was here in 2018 after release of BECOMING and now here in 2021 while reading A PROMISED LAND. 🥺😭😍 Barack said she didn’t find her voice that night; the world finally got to hear it... 😭 There’s a reason her approval rating shot up above 50% and never came down once since... the most admired woman for a reason. Melania and her 2nd grade speechwriter could NEVER... 😑

I am. BO just spoke about M’s Denver speech hitting it out of the ball park and I thought why not find that speech and give it a listen. I’m Canadian so I was only peripherally aware of the Obamas back in 2007. Boy, it will be good to hear intelligence and sincerity from the WH again. Hallelujah!
