I am so happy to find this interview being a huge fan of Cannons for few years now.. seriously I listen to their music and/or watch videos almost every day. They deserve much success!

She seems to be a woman who doesn't let success go to her head. Neat lass. She's the "cool daughter". She's a cutie and I enjoy the band. I hope for them much of success. ❤ ❤. Both of these ladies did a great interview. I hope for you young people a fulfilling future.

Wow, I really surprised on how she sounds normally. It's amazing. And she sounds like a down to earth kind of gal. I'm so glad that stumbled on to this band two years ago. Love the music and I think if they did a prince cover, that would be awesome.

I would’ve never known this gal is the singer of Cannons. She seems really cool and of course Michelle is one pretty lady. Her smile is just killer.

I've been following the Cannons since the album Shadows came out and I love all the backstory videos they're posting. Michelle, Ryan and Paul are really gelling together, they're music is smart and eclectic. Not very song is a banger, but they're stylistic and creative, love em! keep the creative juices flowing! Neon Light is my favorite song of theirs so far

Such an angelic voice

I would LOVE a Prince cover by Cannons -- Purple Rain or any other songs. I was also incredibly surprised to hear Michelle mention the Marvel character of Dazzler. I always felt that Dazzler had a fascinating superpower that could have been utilized in different ways to have made her a more prominent figure in their comics universe. Michelle has her own superpowers, though, just dazzling charm all over the place. Her other band members are also incredibly talented. Cannons was one of my favorites musical discoveries of 2021.

Her music should be in a James Bond movie!

Uhg LOVE her!! My partner died in a rave fire in Oakland, CA 2016 and when I first heard her fire song last year it literally resurrected me like on levels idk it was like hearing/feeling pure magic - idek how it was on my KZread playlist bc I listen to underground gabber techno.. but now I love all her music she helped me heal something intense and set me forward on a new path! Such an angel 💕🤍💞

Good on you +- hard times are followed by alternatives in which relief can be found. I experienced tragic lost (in a different manner - The Big 'C')) but Cannons have me mesmerized to the point I am infatuated. I also dig her suggested playlist too :)

Wowzers! What a beautiful woman she is inside and out. Smart and thoughtful responses as well. Yeah, their music is really growing on me. I live in the Bay Area and hear Bad Dream lots on our alternative station.But in the video I instantly knew the filming had to be in LA. Just something about the street lighting. Then looked closer and could see DTLA. Then...had really weird dreams about LA that night. A woman in the industry was telling me this: "Yeah. LA will bring out all of your secrets..." Woke up and was like WTF?!! What was that about. Many vivid dreams about there!! Must have lived there in a past life, I swear.

Lover her singing voice. Really top notch. Potential to be the next Gwyn Stefani or Lady Gaga. Her talking voice is deeper than I expected compared to her singing voice lol. Good Luck with your career Michelle. Love your music. Favorite cover is Golden.

Her surname couldn't be more apropos as she is really just a joy to listen to--talking, laughing, or *singing!*. And it's so interesting to see the contrast between her "everyday" self and her various looks in Cannons videos. I avoided looking for any interviews of her for so long, because I didn't want to dislike her---because, like, I expected her to be all sullen, too-cool, Avril-y, but she's adorable and I love her laugh. The interviewer is also so cute, with her ready, sincere laugh peppering all of her dialogue. I also love how Michelle was so engaged the whole time. I mean, it is kind of a long interview, but she never looked off or away or appeared anything but super into it, like I was somehow eavesdropping on two girls' FaceTime convo. Last, I'll say that Cannons has grown so much, and has reached a level of sound so good that they could just rest on that laurel for the rest of their career. Oh--and I have always, always yearned to know what my favorite artists think about my other favorite artists' music. Like what Juliana Hatfield thinks about Aimee Mann--or what Liz Fraser thinks about Karen Peris--or what Barrie thinks of Throwing Muses---or Alyson Moyet on Annie Lennox or Liz Phair or Dale Bozzio (who I feel Michelle MUST have been influenced by), etc. Also, I wonder if Ryan and Paul would list Robin Guthrie as an influence. Also, I wonder whether the band would list any of the following as influencing their sound: Bryan Ferry; Morrissey; Kristin Hersh/Tanya Donnelly; Kim/Kelly Deal; and what they think of some bands I love who are their contemporaries--like Roosevelt or Wolf Alice or Cigarettes after Sex or Hazel English or Geowulf. Lol just re-read my post and it's so breathless and spazzy, which is exactly how I get when I have actually met some of my idols, like Juliana Hatfield.

I want to know where Michelle bought her black patten leather boots that she wears in the Talk Talk video. I used to own a pair but can’t find them anywhere now.

Or like covering Soundgarden. I really enjoyed Cannon's versionn of Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark". I enjoyed how they redid an awesome song and added something to it with Michelle's female voice. Get ahold of Sharon Osborne and see if Ozzy will collaborate on a song with you. Seriously. "Through the Glass" by Stone Sour would match with your voice. You were talking about a Prince song? You would sound great redoing "When Doves Cry" by Prince...oh, yes, you guys would do a wonderful version of "Nothing Compares 2U". Chris Cornell did one my favorite versions of that one. Michelle is a brilliant musician and preformer. Her portayal as a drunken bride in one of Cannons videos was poignant. Where she swigged off that bottle of booze and wiped her mouth and then sang. I was like, holy shit this band is really pretty damn good. I mean your video making is first rate, well conceptionalized stuff. You are one of the best new bands I have heard. You all are going places you keep it up. You all are touching hearts. I have read some of the previous comments made by other people. One was very heart touching. I am a big fan already.

Yes - definitely! Love both songs- she would absolutely KILL’em - no doubt - try to imagine if Cannons and Duran Duran had come on the scene at the same time - and performed together - WOW. Guess they still could, but their sounds would’ve meshed amazingly at the time Ordinary World and Come Undone came out. Cannons is my favorite new band, hands down.
