Michelin Star Plating Techniques At Home!

Making strawberry sauce is a delightful way to add a fresh, fruity twist to desserts, pancakes, or even savory dishes. Here’s a simple recipe to make your own delicious strawberry sauce at home:
Ingredients:
2 cups of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on your sweetness preference)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, to enhance flavor)
Instructions:
Prepare the Strawberries: Start by rinsing your strawberries under cold water. Remove the stems and slice the strawberries. If you prefer a smoother sauce, you can quarter them instead.
Cook the Strawberries: Place the sliced strawberries into a medium saucepan. Add the sugar and lemon juice to the pan. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally to ensure the sugar dissolves and the strawberries begin to release their juices.
Simmer: Once the mixture starts to boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. The strawberries will soften and the sauce will begin to thicken. Stir occasionally to prevent burning and ensure even cooking.
Add Flavor: After the strawberries have broken down and the sauce has thickened slightly, remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract for added flavor.
Blend (Optional): For a smoother sauce, use an immersion blender to puree the sauce in the pan until it reaches your desired consistency. Alternatively, you can blend the sauce in a regular blender or food processor. Be cautious when blending hot liquids and ensure the lid is secured.
Strain (Optional): If you prefer a sauce without seeds, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl. Use a spoon to push the sauce through, leaving the seeds behind.
Cool and Store: Allow the sauce to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.
