    I’ve seen better Char Kway Teow here in Australia with more noodle and protein. Nice to know I don’t have to go overseas for a good one.

    Prawns are so cheap since Vietnam started farming them 20 years ago. Not sure why it is such a big deal in Singapore and Malaysia

    Sorry I use Google Translate. This one is Michelin Bib Gourmand not Michelin Star. It is for simpler meals. If you compare the first round of Michelin last year, really beh chiak can be listed!     The hawkers in Penang all use paper plates now unlike when I was young all use plates. Sad right? Thanks for watching.
