I remember when that cd first came out (famous monsters), I was almost 16 and was deeply "in love" and I would play that song over and over on repeat lol. It didn't work out (most relationships don't at that age) and long story short, it didn't take long for that thin line of "love" to turn to hate.

Last year, I too felt that bit of pain. A girl I knew a few years back that I worked with...i had no clue she was my boss's niece( this was a span of around 5 years). So me never getting a clue if a girl likes me, only to find out after 2 years later that she did, maybe I was at fault for not knowing she liked me or the fact her aunt(my boss) was trying to put me up with her. Another 2 years passed by, she's now a news weather reporter flaunting herself. So my boss & one of her cousins, who started working with us wanted me to try to pursue her, at the time I was reluctant, but I was like ok...I'll see what I can do. When her bday arrived, I bought her a flower bouquet, nothing major.left my name and number, if she had the time to thank me for the bday gift. A week in half passed by, they knew something was up and I didn't want to bring up anything, but when I asked her cousin if she got my gift, this is what she told me on what her cousin told her.., "I've known him a long while back, but I only see him now as a "fan"...." when I heard that, where the fuck does she get off by calling me a "fan" if she knew who I was years back??? Long before, she got her career as a "renowned weather girl". That hurt me for quite some time and that my bitch of a boss and her other niece, knew but couldn't break it to me. She never thanked me for the flowers, and on this day forth, I despise her, her aunt and her cousin, their total fucking snakes.

what I really like about the album and misfits in general - it is often about violence, sometimes even about killing women, sometimes about BDSM (or so it seems). But it manages to never get sexist or misogynist. There are a few bands who stepped in their footsteps and really fucked that part up.

God, I wish I could relate to the Julie story. Odd I know. I was that guy, and not that guy. I was/am that shy, don't talk to anyone, be alone in the back type guy. People wouldn't let me be though. I was CONSTANTLY anxious and scared but I guess it came off different. I have a SERIOUS self image issue, no clue why. No trauma or anything to make me feel this way..just do. I have been told my whole life that I'm quite good looking, that I'm built great etc.. (I seriously don't know why. I am NOT any of that) I got a LOT of attention and just about everybody was cool with me and wanted to hang out regardless of how awkwardly I just backed away from it. Older girls would befriend my sister, come over and spend all night/day with me...ask ME out repeatedly etc etc. Older guys always tried to fight me for some reason....that sucked. I just wanted to be left alone. I never went out with anyone, never really had a girlfriend or anything (not for lack of wanting, like I said I was a scared, shy mess). I used to think I was being made fun of most the time.....not many people out there to really relate to in that way that people trend to relate with each other over shit like being the weird kid or whatever. Don't know why I'm putting this all down here and now. Probably because, like I said, no one I can relate to and I doubt many, if any, will see it.

I love Saturday night, but when I saw the last part of the video I understood why he was removed from Misfits, he could take the band into a happy punk ballad concept. After I have seen The Misfits' Madison Square Garden concert in 2019, it is impossible back to Graves' days anymore.

I don’t see a happy ending in that song. I always thought it was about a delusional serial killer who can’t help but kill the women he loves. By the way: I saw Mike with the Misfit in 2001 in NJ. Divinity Destoryed opened for them. While driving home, the cops had a problem with my driving practices. It was a long night. I forget the club. It was off of route 9.
