I was in the Army for 10 years and prior to getting out I went on a “deployment” to Ethiopia. It was seen as a training mission. We were in the vast desert, I’m talking monkeys, donkeys, and giraffes all over the place. We slept in one man tents in the middle of nowhere during this training. The Ethiopian people were great and one day they asked us to take a walk with them they wanted to show us something. We marched through the open desert and got to the top of a mountain and they kept pointing into the distance. I got my binoculars out and what do I see? A HUGE industrial plant out there in the middle of nowhere. We asked the interpreter what that was and he told us the Chinese built it and they were also in the process of building a railroad a few miles away. It was such a crazy sight to see. With the knowledge from this episode and from what I’ve seen with my own eyes it’s almost clear that the Chinese are playing the long game, as well as setting conditions for eventual world domination. I know that can sound insane but what else could it possibly be??

It is called national security and national interests. All nations do it or should attempt to do so. America, France, England and Spain all got to conquer the world and colonize but when a country like Germany or Russia wants to do anything they are the worst people in history. It is political viewpoints. Japanese for example also. We only stopped recently because we are being controlled by a international global community who wants us weak or neutralized so others can catch up or surpass us. The U.N. and Department of Homeland are down there setting these camps up on purpose. It is all an agenda and it has been in motion atleast 50 years full steam.

I followed Yon Stateside, his dispatches were what wasn't being said by the press then. He's valid.

While listening I realized what a masterful interviewer Shawn Ryan is. He didn't interrupt Michael Yon's mind-blowing story, other than to ask him to expand on a topic. This shows true humility, another trait of a great host.

That’s why he is the best podcaster. He doesn’t try to interject himself into the story. Most other clowns aren’t listening to what’s being said, they’re thinking of what to say next, most of the time over speaking a guest that is smarter than them. SRS is the best hands down.

Hey Shawn, I just wanted to say thank you so much for having Michael Yon on your show for this episode. Wow, what a knowledgeable guy. The depth of his knowledge and experience is simply amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all the information he shared, and his unique way of sharing it. Even if he was kinda' all over the map with all of it. I had the impression he has so much more knowledge and information he could have shared (given enough time), that it is difficult to stay on just one topic. Especially when adequate time for sharing it is so limited. I certainly hope you can have him on your show again.

This is one of the most important and relevant shows you have ever produced. If you don't prepare before all this comes down, you are screwed. Sometimes the truth is painful but vital. Thank you so much Shawn for everything you are doing. There is NOBODY producing content anywhere near as informative and critical to our survival than you. You are THE voice in the wilderness. Shawn this one was insane. And boy have I seen a crazy shift here in texas. Im leaving samsung austin semiconductor to move to alaska to look after a mine. But not to speak on china but the koreans? The ways they move? Scary. For instance their construction company Secai , they are first class citizens compared to us. They eat FIRST. its on boards in front of the buildings, we arent allowed to approach or talk with them first. They have korean meetings where i have PERSONALLY seen our head engineer be sent away. The stages are being set and all i hope is everyone looks after one another. We may be outnumbered but we arent alone. And Shawn. To have someone talk the whole time and you sit there and soak it up, shows me a human fighting for knowledge with no problem being all ears. I've been looking forward (dreadfully) to this interview for a loooong time. Thanks to Shawn and Michael for making it happen! I'm now 58 and this is the most harrowing time of my life. We are in an almost unimaginable jam. I pray everyone taking the time to watch this (and read THIS), recognized the threat long ago because we need all the prepared, right-minded and patriotic citizens we can muster to even have a hope (prayer?) of keeping anything remotely like our constitutional republic once was. He was on Alex Jones Infowars over a month ago , Shawn is a bit late, but as the saying goes, better late than never.

I think it’s evident through Yon’s pressured speech patterns that he’s accumulated a ton of combat exposure. What lends credence to his world view is his diligent effort to track down the facts behind his intuitions and views; he has consistently been on the mark for over two decades. He covered my old unit’s deployment in Mosul in 05’ and since then his dispatches have offered me an incredibly foretelling countenance to the pervasive “corporate narrative”. He should be listened to and taken seriously. Thanks for having him on the show Shawn 🤙

The thoughts move faster than the the brains ability to articulate the words while being pressured to express multitudes of data points to paint the overall big picture. Consider him a type of savant, genius that has, some small trouble expressing

So many outstanding men lost...

Over 14 years ago I got into heated debates with family, friends and co-workers because i said that the border needed to be locked down. I was called a racist and heartless. I'm a lifelong TEXAN I'm a veteran but i came back to Texas. I've been watching a transformation of the United States due to it's physically weak border. This mess didn't happen overnight under the current administration. This has been developing for decades i predicted that people from around the world would eventually be entering our porous border. I said we would be seeing diseases that we had gotten rid of decades ago and that we would see new diseases, that we would see violence from these illegals. Our politicians have never had the will or spine to do anything about the border or illegal immigration problem because the democrats see lifetime voters and the republicans see cheap labor. Donald J Trump is the only who attempted to strengthen the border with an actual physical barrier. Once you open pandoras box how can you possibly get the contents back inside Edit Surely I'm not the only one who expected chaos from the out of control Southern border.

It’s strange. I have a woman relative that has been trying to come here for over 10 years. And our family would Be responsible for her not society. It’s really strange when there are so many people trying to come the right way and they are just leaving the door open. Even if you go to borders of poor European countries there is border control.

You had me until you said trump was the only one who attempted to strengthen the border. Unfortunately all the politicians, billionaires, big corporations know we need immigrants for our labor pool. I agree more could be done, and it's out of hand. I also have come to terms that without them I don't think the country would make it. Al lot of really hard workers also come across, work for less, work harder then most, don't have sick days or vacation don't bitc and wine, just work...

When I was a Squad Leader on Deployment to Mosul in 06-07, we used to escort Michael out on missions while he covered some stuff. Awesome guy.

Absolutely brilliant! We are living in some of the most, if not THE most important times in Human history/evolution. We can do this, it won’t be easy, and it’s already brutal…but let’s all continue to learn and band together to ensure a better and prosperous world for ourselves and our children. You know truth is being spoken when you start making connection. Chinese statues being distributed reminds me if what happened to many of our statues in 2018-2020.

Hey Shawn I love your show. Just wanted to add that there has been a HUGE influx of Chinese and indian immigrants in Canada , especially in Vancouver and Toronto. I always wondered what was happening but this episode has brought alot of light to my eyes. Thank you.

2017-18(?) the Chinese military set up camp in BC. Camp was Prince Rupert and an island off VanCouver Island. Canada said it was just “trainings 🙄.” A guy I was following online said he was going to go check it out. He drove to Prince Rupert first and talked to the locals and took pics. Chinese were set up alright… to stay. Next stop off VanCouver Island… same thing. He reported what he personally witnessed and then he just disappeared. I lived (grew up) 45 min from the BC border in WA and I can tell you the influx of Chinese coming in significantly increased starting 10+ years ago. They were buying up land everywhere. This same guy (sorry can’t remember his name) said the Chinese army wasn’t just in BC but spread out across Canada. Just waiting for the green light.

I've heard about this and seen some of those videos. Canada is full of bleeding hearts and that's what country's that are trying to take over LOVE. The majority of people here don't care to learn about these things because it would make them seem "racist"... F THAT! Individually I dont know what I can do to stop this but I staying well armed seems to be step 1.

As an immigrant and citizen since '95, I'm pleading with every other American to wake up to the fact that these United States of America is the last hill to stand on, literally, every other nation on the planet (whether they want to admit it or not) are depending on U.S. citizens to vote for and elect Donald J Trump along with his administration this November '24. Amen! Thanks for sharing your friendship with Michael. I'm a Ukrainian immigrant to America, and I was also personally in the East Ukraine w@rzone. I love this dude. His special ops experience and being a Renaissance world traveling reporter is KEY in understanding and helping warn Americans about what the globalists/CIA/international bankers are planning! By 2030, America is scheduled to be "demolished."

Fascinating interview. I’ve been to Panama many times as my wife is from there. It’s sad to hear what’s going on and what is going to happen in the future. This talk was a little frustrating at times because Michael has so much information to share he was all over the place with his answers, and Shawn really had to press him to get some specifics. Outside of that another great effort Educating us as to what’s really going on in the world.

In early 2014 I read a survival article, while living in the city, that said we need to be at least five miles from any major freeway. I could see one out our front window. I prayed. Within a week, we were moving to the country. We've been there ever since. Thank you God.

What an episode…Michael Yon is a wealth of information.. Ppl will have to band together. As far as cities and heavily populated areas , they are pretty much screwd .
