The bass in this version is amazing ! Jason Weaver's talent really shows itself here. And if you watched the movie from the beginning you can REALLY feel the progress of the film and timeline here.

That's Jason actually singing people. He "almost" has a carbon copy of a young Michael. Mike's was a tad bit stronger and raspier. But this kid can blow. DO NOT be fooled.

Valerja Mici this is Jason singing. You can tell when he sings the line "since you've been gone" When Michael sings it he goes high pitch

Jason was showing pure swag at 2:30. He knew he killed that performance. Smokey might have wrote it. Mike might have owned it. But Jason borrowed it and returned it safe, sound, and in one piece.

if you dont believe me read the credits at the end of the movie. Just because its a kid's voice its not Michael's. Michael had a soulful raspy-power voice you can easily tell. Jason has a softer-timid toned voice even though its loud.

Besides the impressive facts that: Michael HANDPICKED him, this is his voice, and Elton John came on set to hear him and picked him for young Simbas singing voice.. the fact that this is a LIVE TAKE.. like this beautiful take that sounds so perfect is LIVE. MIND. FUCKING. BLOWN.

I don't understand ppl who claim they've followed M.J career all thru his life haven't gotten accustomed 2 his voice & pitch. There's 2 things no1 can do, that's really sound & look exactly like MJ. yeah they come close but that's it. M.J vocals is rare & unique, Jason voice is closer than any1 I know as a young MJ. His vocal sings on quite a few songs in the movie, like the pool party & w/Holly R. The main reason I luv The lion KING is his singing & I can't 4get his role as Brandy bro in Thea.

I see how a girl can easily pick up a pen and paper and write to Micheal stating how they want him to marry them after listening to this.

One of my all time favorite movies.

I just had to hear jason weaver slay this song.

The only songs that were listed that Jason Weaver sung was "Kansas City" and "I wanna be where you are", but this does sound like Jason. Most of the songs were the originally recorded songs from the studio.
