My mom wanted this song sung at her funeral. My sister and I stood up and sang the song crying the whole time as everyone at the funeral sang with us. We had to stand and lift our hands to heaven because that is where she is with our Savior Jesus. I am wearing one of her shirts today and I can't help but feel so close to her. She spent her life teaching others about Jesus, in the USA and all around the world. She also taught Sunday School, Wednesday night teen girls, and prison ministry with my dad who left us in 2005. I praise God for her life and raising my sister and me in a Christian home. I don't know how people lose their loved ones without knowing Jesus and stay sane.

I love this song by Michael w Smith, when my sweet niece diagnosed with cancer at 16 and only got to live six months from the time she was one day I was driving to work and she was admitted in the hospital I worked at. I was driving to go see her early that morning and there was that news is she was leaving us, when I got into her room I felt in my heart to sing this song and singed this song to her holding her hand and she just smiled like an Angel. Every time I listen to this song🎵, it reminds me that nothing in this world can ever take God's place.

Draw me lord that's my only desire. Nothing else in THIS world will or can satisfy my soul's desire. My only desire is jesus Christ, today someone somewhere seek ye the lord while ye may be found.

We were created in God's image, we were created to Praise and Worship the Godhead, now and forevermore. When we allowed that connection to be broken, we feel so alone, disconnected, hurt, frustrated, because we were designed to be in the Presence of the Godhead always. The longer we stay away from God and his Presence, we are like men most miserable. I long to be, always want to be, close to the Godhead and he with me!!! Nothing can be Compared to it, it goes beyond Priceless!!!!!!

You are not alone. What helps when you feel depressed is that you stop listening to the world, and withdraw from the world, and just come to him, as you are. Remember that you are not alone. You have the Holy Ghost, and Jesus and God. And when you know that God is in control and when you understand that all things work out for good and you trust and believe in Jesus, then understand that all will work out. I also have to remind myself that Jesus in me is greater than anyone outside. Whenever I come to Jesus I feel peace. Whenever I rest in God's presence, I feel comfort. So don't just pray and study, but come to God. Come to Jesus, realize you are not alone. Seek His face. What helped me recently is reading Romans 4 about the faith of Abraham, and Jesus's words in John 15 where he said we can't do anything without him and he who abides in Jesus bears much fruit. When you realize that by abiding in Jesus you can do ALL things through Him who loved you, then all anxiety might go away.

I remember this would play every night on the gospel radio as a child. I grew up with song in my heart. I love it so much

There are many songs over decades of years that I have struggled with when I was at my worst. Now I look back when hearing this song and others and praise my Jesus for His sacrifice and rising from the dead.

This song makes me emotional when I hear that Father God will never let me go nor forsake me. It brings tears to my eyes.

Was in collage 9 years ago, life was so hard, luck of school fees, pocket money etc but I could play this song to keep me going. I thank God for how far I have come.

My baby niece passed away suddenly 2 hours after being born. On the way to see my sister this song started playing. It’s like it read my heart and expressed everything I wanted 🌻 As a family we created a garden for her known as “Eliya’s Garden”. We started to symbolize her presence with a sunflower & after a whole year of listening to this song, I realized the sunflower was there all along. My special girl shows up for me daily in ways I can’t even explain, always bringing me her comfort and living forever on. Grateful ✨🌻
