yup, its completely fair when you are not allowed to drop your humerus into a declining angle. if your humerus goes into declining angle then you cant get pinned even if your arm is fully extended.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but Michael is one of the fairer pressers imo. His shoulders are more square than most other pressers and he never crosses center table. The guy can press, thats for sure

Frank is phenomenally strong. Anybody would have a problem against Frank in the weight class. His hand and wrist is ridiculous. Michael seems to still have a dead hand. He left everything on the table and fought til the very end. Like him, hate him, he did it, with 25% of an arm. Kudos Michael and blessings.

And the fact that Frank always trained like it is an hobby is fucking crazy, this thing almost pisses me off, because if I were him, I would train seriously to be among the strongest, he has an exaggerated natural potential, comparable to John Brzenk!

Yeah technically Ermes should have been east, but he pulled with Alizhan who is "more east" than him (Kazakistan-Italy), for example at evw 9 revaz (team west) pulled vitaly(team east) even if revaz is georgian. They shall take account of athletes further east. I guess.

I know Travis says some craziness when hes doing this. But; hes way more entertaining than anyone else ive ever heard doing EvW. I really like the things he says that are absolutely wrong. Looolll. Idk why but its great. And finally us boys in the U.S. get a win. Took....years?

Well that's your opinion. Considering we also saw a press, that makes your comment pretty stupid. It's not easy dropping into a kings move or open toproll after pressing. Either way, hating on someone's style is pretty pathetic. You don't have to like it but you also don't have to watch it and sure as hell don't need to be a douche about it in words.

​@@rotten2209I like MMT in general but I dislike his style. It's not an honorable way to win, IMHO. The entire strategy is based on a loophole in the rules. He mostly just lets his bodyweight and joints/tendons do all the work. It's not hard to see why most people root against him.

Michael has that 110% endurance in that Kingsmove and he has a 110% accuracy in the press-transition. Everything else is just like 70% of the other guys. 😂 Center position power and control is at 50% or sum like that... But!....he manages to win with his limited tools. I call that a clever guy. This is some engineering lvl sh!t.

agreed. by all rights he should of lost this. this was a master class in using whatever you have left to win. he shouldnt even probly be arm wrestling anymore that arm is so messed up. the U.S. gets a win too

It's not like Frank doesn't have really refined technique as well.

so Michael doesn't pull traditionally, but when asked, he always says it's because his opponents are really freakishly strong.

I don’t get how Michael likes to pull in this style, just seems awkward.

As I suspected, some of the AW gifts Michael had has been taken away from him with his surgery, and he's now getting exposed. Hope he starts to train more traditionally. His strongest lane is his press now. Will be nice to see if this will be his go to move since his kings move technique is orthopedically not accessible. He's literally trying to contort his body to find the familiar bone lock, which is no longer there.
