7:34 this whole scene is genius how he brings in the donuts himself, opens the box, and just pauses holding the coffee pot, waiting for someone to walk in so he can say that line "someone brought in donuts for my birthday". I mean it would be so funny if it wasn't so sad and even though it's fictional, these things DO happen.

According to the Office Ladies podcast, Steve Carrell actually ate all that food in the first season, but before season two he got in shape for The Forty Year-Old Virgin and wanted to stay that way and used a spit bucket, so he didn't have to eat like Michael anymore.

He can do that, horses are euthanized if their legs break because it's very painful for them and difficult to recover. But horse doctors do other things as well
