The delivery guy wasn't wrong. He came back and rationally explained that they gave him extra money, meaning they gave him the amount PLUS an extra $5 bill. So I would have assumed that they are giving me a tip, because they could have paid WITHOUT giving the $5 bill. When he came back, you can tell he's upset that he had to come back, but he's calm and rational, unlike those unprofessional car-dealer leeches. And notice the guy in the blue flannel gets all excited because he gets to side with the reasonably attractive female in the room, after she opens her classy yap.

FOR THE RECORD - the claim that Lucy (green hat) only made her rude statement because Jarrid T. made a "vulgar" remark first is FALSE. The oldest trick in the bullies' book is to claim their victim did something bad to them first. NONSENSE. When interviewed, Lucy said only that Jarrid "mumbled something" on his way out. She ADMITS SHE DIDN'T EVEN HEAR HIM. He probably said something no worse than "I can't believe this." ENOUGH BLAMING THE INNOCENT VICTIM.

@DukeFan1971

And taking that one step further...if SHE couldn't hear what the delivery guy was saying...couldn't make it out, cause he was mumbling under his breath...then how could THIS guy claim to hear very clearly what the delivery guy said, when he was TWICE AS FAR AWAY as she was?!? I think that alone proves he's lying through his teeth. Also, the fact that he hemmed and hawed and made excuses as to why he couldn't send the station the supposed "first video" that HE says backs up their behavior is nothing but a bunch of lies too. They even offered to send THEIR computer guy down to get the video FOR HIM, and he completely ignored that. And the fact that after this interview...both he and the woman who threatened the delivery driver were canned by the owner should tell you all you need to know...for 2 reasons: 1) The account on KZread where the original video was uploaded belongs to the owner, according to this guy. So if there was video that exonerated his employees, and would put his company in a better light...don't you think he would have been all too happy to put that video up? And 2) If what this guy said was at ALL true...if the driver said something vulgar and derogatory towards them on his way out the door...don't you think both the owner--and ESPECIALLY the woman who got fired--would have JUMPED at the chance to say so, especially her TO SAVE HER JOB? But neither of them did EITHER of those things, and she was interviewed by this same station before him, and clearly said she couldn't make out what he said. So no way in HELL this guy miraculously hears what she couldn't when she was twice as close, and had WAY more reasons to say he said something vulgar to them IF he did, because her job was on the line, and as far as HE knew, the worst he was facing was a temporary suspension. So I don't believe a word he says, frankly. He was stumbling over his words, talking over the DJs at several points when they tried to ask valid questions he didn't want to answer, trying to make up stories and excuses to put the victim in a bad light, and so on...all things someone who's blatantly lying does to try to cover that fact up. I think he's a narcissist, and possibly a pathological liar. Pathological liars lie, know they're lying, know YOU know they're lying...but lie ANYWAY, because they feel COMPELLED TO.
So he is admitting they are classless people who don't tip?

Not one of them thought "maybe he thought it was a tip" its more that he is too stubborn and stupid to back down.
I know this is old news by now, but I just discovered it. This is nuts. They didn't know how much they had given him? They just threw the money at him? No, what you do in that case is you sit there and count the money out loud before you hand it to the driver. It's not up to the driver to do your accounting. They didn't realize they'd included an extra $5? They didn't know they'd given him an extra $7, which would have been a totally appropriate tip? And this is the finance guy for the dealership? Fills me with confidence.... (You know, from a PR standpoint, much better to say that there was a misunderstanding and everyone meant well and they regret the whole incident. I mean, if you're going to lie, at least lie effectively).

This place went out of business in like 2017 because hundreds of people were reporting that they sold broken and unsafe cars. Total scumbags.
Trusting the words of a used car salesmen? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
So this guy, who is supposed to be a finance manager, just "threw money" at a pizza guy and expected him to do the accounting for him?
$7 on a $43 pizza order is about a 16.5% tip. Most people would consider that a fairly average tip. So either these guys wanted to give a crappy tip, or this finance manager struggles with math. If they wanted to give less than 16.5%, simply hand the guy the two 20s and the 5, then ask him to break the second 5 into ones. (Or use the petty cash that most legitimate businesses have to break the 5 before the driver gets there.) Then, the next time they ordered a pizza it would take longer because they would be known for crappy tips. Now, they're known for being complete jerks. So if they're able to find anyone to deliver to them, there's a pretty good chance the food will have some extra "ingredients".

CLOSED FOR GOOD. WESTPORT - Selectmen last month voted against allowing an embattled Route 6 dealership to retain its license to sell automobiles, effective Jan. 1. That decision isn’t going to change. The owner of F & R auto had a chance for a temporary license but failed to persuade selectmen on Monday that the business deserved a second chance. Town Administrator Timothy King said he received a letter from the state Attorney General’s office, which in the fall initiated legal action on the dealership based on consumer complaints. “Since enforcement action, they have not seen a reform of business practices that would warrant a letter of endorsement,” King said on Monday. King noted how the AG mentioned that since initiating the lawsuit, there has been one consumer complaint and several instances in which the AG has identified issues of vehicles that have failed safety emissions, had mechanical problems or needed significant repair within 30 days.

$50 bucks and they were thinking who will pay what? Son of *****.... better beg under Manhattan metro station.
Sorry, Mr. Ramos. "Both parties" were NOT guilty. Blaming the victim is the oldest trick in the bullies' hand book. #1. Lucy herself was interviewed and failed to state, when given the opportunity, that Mr. Tansey had "called her" anything or was "saying vulgar stuff." She stated he "mumbled something" so she didn't even hear what he "mumbled" which was, likely, something like "I can't believe this" and was NOTHING "vulgar." #2. Jarrid did NOT "throw" the money "because he was upset." He gently handed the cash over saying "here's your change." #3. It was perfectly reasonable for any delivery person to presume that the customer has counted the money they're giving over and that an extra $5 bill was meant to be part of a tip. Then, while the employees are having a discussion about "who's going to pay what . . . . he just takes off." SO WHAT? At that point, there was no reason for him to stay; it was a matter between the employees. "You just don't take money" handed willingly to him for a product just delivered? Why not? Perfectly reasonable behavior on Jarrid's part. And, Mr. Ramos, in trying to claim the victim "deserved it" only makes it all worse. BTW, subjecting anyone, even the guilty auto sales employees, to hostile harrasment is UNacceptable, also. PLEASE.
If they did not know what they were giving him...that sounds like their fault for not being organized.
The IT guy has a great sense of humor if that's what really happened.

WIN WIN !! 8 hope you're familys dont suffer,,,, as much as you wished harm on Jarrid (financialy ) 9 A genuine and sincere apology with no if's and buts would go a long way in helping people put it aside and forgive you all 10 give you a clue its a little word that can mean a whole lot begins a S and ends in a Y oh bugger it I will make it easy for you and spell it out SORRY !
This fool wants people to believe that the pizza guy left and essentially stole seven dollars while they were trying to figure out what to pay. The pizza guy left with about a 14% tip. Cheap tip coming from at least four people. So this fool's defense was that they were calculating an even smaller tip. Brilliant move to say so on the radio.

He made is worse. I am sorry goes a long way dude...
Why did they gave him 2 $20 and 2 $5 .... should have gave him 2 $20 and 1 $5 ?
*What I think pisses this guy off is, not only the fact he got exposed, but the pizza guy got 16k.....and he hates it lol🤣😭😂*
Well of course the delivery guy is pissed off, he had to go all the way back to give these cheap bastards $7!
Should have walked in with $7.00 in pennies and dumped them all over there desk??? !

What a tough guy. Bad-mouthing a guest in your office... Ramos gives used car salesmen a bad name. Now your voice squeaks and trembles. Enjoy not being the financial manager of anything.
We believe the pizza guy not the car guy !
This guy is already despised and its making his dent into his business. It would have been better if he had used this opportunity to apologize, admit he was in the wrong, etc, etc. Instead he makes himself looks more like an idiot.... Not too bright.
“So listen: The manager apologized once for you. Do you want him to apologize again for you?” the worker in blue says. “Out the door before I put my foot in your ass,” a female office-worker in green says. “Get the f---ing owner and the manager on the phone, I want that mother-f---er done,” another man in the office says after Tansey leaves. “I want him fired.” Willoughby, who was working that night, said he got a call from F&R Auto Sales saying that Tansey had “verbally berated” them. He said they took the call seriously at first and asked Tansey about the interaction. After Tansey explained what had happened, managers decided not to discipline the driver. “This isn’t the first time we have had problems with F&R Auto,” Willoughby said. “All the time, there’s always a problem, always an issue,” Hernandez said. “We’ve been going back and forth with them for a long time.”
At F&R Auto Sales, you'll find only the finest salvage/reconstructed vehicles that were passed over by other dealers at the auction and have completed our rigorous (1) point inspection. If you're interested in a particular vehicle, please call ahead before a test drive to give us enough time to figure out how to get your new vehicle started and keep it running. Remember that the mileage shown on the odometer is just a number and we will gladly change that number, for a small fee, to whatever you would like after purchase. Having trouble finding credit? Our loan sharks will be more than happy to work with you (Just bring in your first-born child as collateral). As an incentive, very vehicle sold this month will receive a full tank of gas/water (Our special blend) and extra cheese at no additional cost.
