Michael Porter Jr. Blames Himself for Nuggets.

Michael Porter Jr. blames himself for the Nuggets' playoff loss to the Timberwolves, stating that the series was a terrible one. Porter averaged 10.7 points on 37.1% shooting from the field in the second-round series, but made only 10 of his 35 shot attempts across the last four games, totaling 25 points. The Timberwolves chose not to help off of him, resulting in a decrease in his touches per game and shot attempts per game. The Timberwolves' decision to not help off of Porter also contributed to the series' loss. Porter is two years into a five-year, $179 million max contract and has multiple siblings involved in legal troubles. He believes he is a better player than he played in the series and that his teammates should not blame him for the loss.
