Pennix to Dolphins make so much sense. Get a upgraded Tua on a rookie contract. If he turns out way better then Tua great if not you aren't stuck overpaying Tua. Pennix fits that Miami offense perfectly

upgraded tua haha😂 dude is 1 year younger than tua. tua balled tf out in college 5 years ago. he been a career winner over 63% with either coach and with or without tyreek. if they wanna go back to tank mode they should get rid of tyreek Ramsey waddle as well.

@@KZread_Street_Drifter those would be two excellent picks for sure. It will be interesting to see out of Penix Jr., McCarthy and Nix, who might fall to the 2nd round. So many teams want a QB and need a QB. Do six get taken in the first round? Giants may have to trade back into Round 1 to get a Penix.

As a Vikings fan , I want Penix Jr!!! I’m tired of over paying an aging Kirk Cousins. Imagine Penix w/ Jettas, Addy, KJ, & TJ!!!

The thing is there is credence to this theory when you look at how Tua got those numbers and why he can't get any better than this especially if you overpay him and start taking his weapons away.

They were top 5 offensively this year too. Unfortunately that's not enough to win playoff games.

I'm a Raiders fan and hoping Penix is available at our first pick at no. 13. If he is still around at no. 21, as projected here, then maybe we can trade down to get him.

Penix to the Dolphins sounds good before the draft, when everyone is a superstar. Maybe not so good after, when most of them aren't.

If Miami or the Vikings take Penix... rookie of the year? I think he'd put up monster numbers!

From what I understand his medical will always be suspect because of that neck injury. He had 5 specialists saying he risked paralyzation if he kept playing football. He most definitely will slide and be drafted below what his talent justifies because of it. Not only is there a higher risk the team doesn't get 4-5 years of low cost play, there's the increased risk a player winds up laid out and paralyzed while wearing the team jersey on their home field. Not a look any team really wants or the NFL

Im a die hard SC fan so its not like i support Oregon players but the disrespect to Troy Franklin in all these mock drafts and wr rankings from PFF and other expert sites is beyond wild to me. He’s never mentioned in the top 10 wrs let alone the 1st rd. Klatt is right, Mahomes & Andy Reid would run up to the podium with that pick.

So the Fins swap a injury prone QB with concussion issues for a college QB with 2 ACL repairs to the same knee. Rookie contract part makes sense if you dont love your current dude. And the play style makes sense too. Penix to Miami is nice if the medical checks out

I don't know why Penix is not in the top 5 QB conversation. 🤔????

History of injuries

If the Ravens go receiver I won’t be mad at it but with Koolaid on the board and the injuries that plagued our secondary I prefer him. I think next season we won’t be getting the same kind of pressure we got this season. New DC and a lot of key FA might be leaving if we don’t improve at corner it will show

Ironically the one play the Dolphins made against the Chiefs defense was Tua underthrowing Tyreek so badly that it threw off the CB.

@thejoeklattshow If Raiders Don't move up then they should take Penix.. the most Pro ready QB in the draft while Raiders have a Veteran offensive skill players ready to win now. Tre Tucker can fly and having Devante Adams, Myers Te, and great running back Josh Jacobs with coaching mindset to run the ball it would be a perfect situation for him to slide in and make an impact right of way. Definitely an upgrade over AOC and with a top 10 Defense he will be set up to succeed.

M.Penix, J.Russel, Z.Wilson, R.Leaf, T.Lance, M.Jones, D.Haskins, B.Young, J.Winston, M.Trubiski, B.Bortles, S.Darnold…..I’ll keep Tua.

Rookie contracts allow a reset and ability to spend on other ways. I can honestly say, been diagnosed with 4 concussions, undiagnosed of many more. I wanted to play.

Unfortunately the dolphins are not gonna draft a qb.

He just played an entire season without injury.

If your moving off tua for injury concerns why draft and have to worry about the same thing?

That's due to him being a running qb, after which he transfered to Washington and then became a pocket qb. After that, no injuries so that argument is outdated

@Jrm-xs9qi you might be wrong, teams do put that into the equation, but NFL teams want “NFL ready” players, Penix has started almost as many games as Nix and doesnt fold under pressure. Some teams dont mind taking a NFL ready QB with a injury history.

Penix to Miami because Tua is injury prone? That's a TERRIBLE TAKE. It has taken Penix 6 yrs to get out of college due to injuries. 2 ACL and 2 shoulder. All season ending. No Thanks. We're all set at QB in Miami with Tua. If it's risky to pay Tua then it was risky to pay Joe Burrow. Whose missed more games than Tua. And Tua has also WON more games than Joe Burrow. Chris Grier wasn't born yesterday. He's paying his GUY TUA.
