Michael Monroe, the legendary rock star from Finland and former Hanoi Rocks frontman, chats to VRP Rocks about his forthcoming new documentary, which he reveals will be called "The Best Kept Secret In Rock & Roll!". He talks about the making of the movie, about the many legendary artists who've been interviewed as part of it, including Alice Cooper, Slash and Ian Hunter, and about how it's helped to provide closure. It also healed some old wounds with former band mate Andy McCoy who he hadn't spoken to for 12 years! It's a fascinating insight into what will surely be a brilliant rockumentary!

I love this program. I watched it a month ago and it's a great value because Michael tells it like it is and you get to hear his real voice and what he's up to.
I first heard it was coming out in 2022...then "late 2022, by October", now hearing "end of January 2023". PLEEEAAASE LET IT BE TRUE!! And PRETTY PLEEAASE WITH SUGAR ON TOP...COME TO OREGON!!!! I've got a 23 yr running FM radio show called "The Church of Rock" out of Ashland, OR. Have interviewed soooo many people Michael has worked with over the years or knows, including Cheetah Chrome, Suzi Quatro, Ron Ashton of The Stooges, and Dave Treganna, just to name a few! I would just die if I could get a short radio interview with Michael. Many of our interviews are on "thechurchofrock" on youtube. Lots of punk legends, but also musicians from other genres, but I want MICHAEL!!!
When is this out? A must watch!
What happened to the original documentary that was already finished and released, Michael?

There is a theory that documentary will end with the conversation for the first time with Vince Neil in Finland, this summer's Rockfest. They seemed to be quite ok after all. Razzle wanted them to meet.
