Michael McDonald just appreciates good music all around, funny how he's the link between artists like Thundercat and Steely Dan.
I’ve seen thundercat twice, he’s not lying... they’re amazing live and improv according to the vibe in the room

Yeah I seen him once. But I was blown away by how fucking funky my show was. I was hella fucked up so I dont remember too much of what songs they 0layed I just know they had a bunch of isms that made me shake my booty.

Michael has an incredible range of collaborations over the years, going back to the 1970s, with Steely Dan. Very cool!!
Much respect to Thundercat, Mike McDonald and Kenny Loggins. McDonald and Loggins have known each other for years. They go waaaay back.

How good to see someone so talented be so grounded and unaffected by the whole showbiz thing. He's someone you could approach for autographs and he'd thank you for it.
Their track on Thundercat's album is great, as is the whole album. Live is mind blowing.
I think you can often hear it in Thundercat's music, how he channels the '80's Loggins/Macdonald vibe in his music.

For sure!! When I first heard “Them Changes” it gave me Isley Brothers/Michael McDonald & Kenny Loggins vibes, Lol… with His originality… Very talented Brother.

Thundercat live is so more of a different and unique experience then to the studio recordings
