I think Michael Kiske is one of the most underrated vocalists ever. I am rediscovering this music and absolutely blown away! Pumpkins United!!!!!

Yep. Same here. I got into singing as an old guy and vaguely remembered my teenage Halloween weekends where I would tape Headbanger ball and the amazing singer of this band. Very quickly discovered the inspiring story of this guy and this band and was blown away by the whole United pumpkins thing. Saw them live in USA finally last year, better than could have imagined! Check the Budocan (sic) pro shot from a few months ago of this song!

Revisiting the classics in 2020! Kiske is the boss!

First metal band I've ever listened to, and their album Keeper of the Seven Keys. Late 80s. My friend had vinyls - I was amazed how energetic this type of music is.

My god, so much heavy speed sound here! Kiske is amazing! Young, beautiful and with great voice!

Helloween, the best band ever.

In Cascais, Portugal, 1988, MKiske don't needed to teach us the lyrics. We, the 12.000 maniacs in the audience, knew ALL THE LYRICS FROM ALL SONGS, from this incredible band, who opened IMaiden, and sung, together, louder than MKiske. When MKiske entered the stage he reacts with fear seeing our reaction and screaming from respect and joy!!! Like Manowar did, in the same place, few years later!!! What a HONOUR being there and see and listen these stratospheric musicians performing the best Metal in these days!!!!!!

I was 5 when this came out.... Had no idea what I was missing... great song!

No doubt this is the best line up from Helloween.... i am marveled how young are them, specially Kiske , not more than 20 years here and hear what a voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont forget weikath, he was/is also an importend part of the band, after all, he wrote some of their greatest tracks: "How Many Tears" "A Tale That Wasn´t Right" "Helloween" Eagle Fly Free" "Dr. Stein" and "Keeper Of The Seven Keys" and of course, the they changed their style a Little after the Keeper´s, but the Chameleon-album is actually an okay album, if you just listen to it, there is many epic songs on, like "Giants" "Music" "Mankind" and "I Believe". And their new album is maby the best!

I was pointing towards the fact that he's got a new band with Kai Hansen now called Unisonic, and has done several live guest appearances with Gamma Ray and Avantasia

wtf... they do great performance, the vocal so original, and the crowd?... awesome peoples no one busy with gadget all blend in enjoying the show, not like today concert, every people too busy with their gadget and forget to enjoy the live concert ^^

Me, My Brother & His Friends bring some gadgets (slr camera, instant camera, pocket camera, camcorder, walkman, tape recorder) when came to live concert in 90's, but we enjoy the concert, our gadgets in our bag mostly.... Sorry to say, we live in our style in 90's, maybe you'll don't understand how it feel. Our gadgets are too oo big?... I don't think so. We love it & we bring our gadgets with our passion. The result are bad or too noisy?... It's ok, we accept that & we proud to have them. For us in 90's generation, gadgets are just the tools.

@Samson 92 ahh I see, you're kind of that, ok I understand, but for me it's different, my brother work at a magazine company, so I usually help my brother to bring gadgets in my bag too... maybe gadgets kind of distractions for you, not for me, here we still enjoy the concert, and today we have priceless documents... We brings gadgets not because for work only, but for our passion to document the concert too.

Helloween was unbeatable with the Keepers formation, but for me the band died with the departure of Hansen, ok Kiske was great too, but the band could survive without him, but not without Hansen, he was the true genius behind the old Helloween. Without him the band died slowly, first Kiske then Ingo, and the rest we all already know.
