Ditto, you just hardly see this kind of play anymore. Sometimes in the playoffs but even then its sparingly.

m.j. is the GOAT, but maaaaaaaaaan, scottie pippen is SO damn UNDERRATED. the man is SLEPT on in terms of how damn GOOD he was...

This was a hungry Bulls team heading into the playoffs with their best regular season ever (at that point) and 2nd year under Phil Jackson and the triangle. They would have home court advantage in the east but finished with the 2nd best record in the league. How the Lakers upset Portland in the west is beyond me. A sign of things to come for the Bulls.

Jordan against the Knicks was always must see T.V. especially in the playoffs and 91 they swept the Knicks great statline by the Dynamic Duo of Jordan and Pippen.

Knicks have such bad luck, the last time they had a championship contending team was when Jordan was in his prime then if not MJ it was that monster Olajuwon in their way. That early 90s Knicks team would be winning chips today.

keep in mind that Jordan : lost a year due to injury; lost basically 2 years due to baseball; stopped playing for 3 years after his 6th title before joining Washington. LBJ will never be at the same level as Jordan, as good as he is.

@@TruthHasSpoken It is no one's fault to lost 2 years of his career, it is Jordan's decision while LBJ also lost a year due to injury. keep in mind that LBJ spent years in Cavs which is the worst city to play in, not to mention all the records LBJ has made. So, I hold same opinion as Magic Johnson: If LBJ got one more title, LBJ will be at the same level as Jordan.

@@epochalanaxagorasworldpeac8053 I would rephrase and say he would have the same. number of championships. While LB played in Cleveland, so too the 80's era Bulls were a relatively weak team that improved over time into the 90's.
