MICHAEL JORDAN POUNDED AT SAILFISH TOURNAMENT | ROUGH INLETS | Boats at Palm Beach Inlet

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Was the title clickbait or Solid? I need some help with my Thumbnails.
Let me know down below.
Being in an 80ft Viking really helps when the inlet is pounding like it was today. Super rough conditions to fish in but that didn't stop Michael Jordan from getting out there and doing some fishing. I tried to include many boats fishing the Bluewater Movements Sailfish Challenge.
Unlike Haulover Inlet and Jupiter Inlet, Lake Worth aka Palm Beach Inlet is a lot deeper and is normally much easier to navigate. However, this weekend the winds were gale force and the ocean was rough. This made for hard fishing and great-looking entries into the inlet.
It was fun to film a variety of sportfish boats and center consoles during this sporty day on the water filled with angry waves.

Always make it to the end on all your videos... as for the Stepped Hulls, I do like them and I am a fan. They do introduce air and break up surface tension of the water/hull interface, making the boat "glide" easier on the water with lower friction and higher speed :-) Great work on the video and MJ Sport fish, that's one awesome vessel and yes, I love the paint job!

Some think that the 'Carolina Flare' is just for design/styling cues. However, I have witnessed many times just how purposeful the flare is in big seas. It really deflects the water in heavy seas (esp at speed - as in tournaments - often becomes important) away from the boat huge distances. The deep-V bow allows the boat to cut through the wave and the flare really does its job. I've been in and out of both the Jupiter and Palm Beach (Lake Worth) inlets literally thousands of times. Although there aren't as many in Fla, the Buddy Davis and Jarrett Bay sportfishermans are also really cool Carolina Flare yachts.
