Michael Jordan party stories shared by 4x NBA Champ John Salley | Ep. 59 | CLUB SHAY SHAY

Shannon Sharpe sits down with former NBA champion John Salley to discuss stories about Michael Jordan. Salley reveals Jordan is a basketball Messiah, people just worship him. Salley recalls a time the two were partying: “The owner of the club came up and said: ‘What MJ’s in my club?!’ He stopped the music and cut the lights on so everyone could see that Michael was there…He changes the way people move.”

Jordan couldn't leave out the '94 season, because it was apart of the arc of the "last dance." He told the whole story from his rookie year to his final season in Chicago. When he retired the first time, that part had to be included, because it set the stage for him coming back. He felt like he let the guys down by not being there.

There’s no comparison. No one should ever worship other human beings. That would be ridiculous, there is only one god, but when Michael Jordan was walking down the hallway, the entire hallway lit up with cameras, unlike any other human being I’ve ever seen. Greetings Shannon, please talk about the officiating in the Warriors vs Cavs game. It was significant because the Cavs were a top team in the east going into this game. Apart from the great team defense, the play by Steph, Draymonds defense & assists, the official, whoever that guy was seemed like he was payed off, had some vendetta, or God only knows it was bad. I'm telling you it's worth talking about on Undisputed. Steph and the warriors team werr being called for fouls where there was little to no contact.-- there is footage out there. They won despite this, but the bad calls could have been just enough for the Cavs to win.

Can't believe it's a debate of who's the most recognizable haha just look at the 91 Olympics and the reception that Jordan received in Spain. He was worldwide in a time when social media didn't exist. Everyone literally wanted to be like Mike... NOBODY ever tells stories about any other person the same way they do about Jordan. Nobody else has ever been referred to as being a holy figure like Jordan.
