Speaks to the friendship they had. If Michael didn't see him as a good friend, he may not have made a point to look at his contract and let Charles live with his own decisions. Which is why I will always say that I don't think it was the criticism of not doing a good job with the Hornets that caused the problem. It was Charles saying that Michael is surrounding himself with "yes men".
