The more games I see from the '92 season, the more I'm starting to think I should include it as an equal with MJ's 1990 and 1991 seasons/postseasons as far as his level of play goes. You also have this game vs. NY up from '92, and there as here he looks unstoppable - just so varied with his offensive game, but his athleticism is still crazy. I can't believe how high he's getting for the alley-oops in this game as well as that dunk on the drive. Sick footwork at the 2:29 mark. Thanks for this!

@SPMJ he was also stronger that year, gaining more muscle, which came in handy in the post season, especially against the Knicks

ive always wondering how much faster/ higher jordan would jump with the lighter and more responsive basketball shoes of today! back then he had to lean his head to prevent his head from hitting the rim. Imagine...

@jordanlover23 It's long been my favorite season of his. He's more skilled than ever while losing very little athletically from previous seasons. Maybe even more explosive in some ways. Add his improved game management skills along with further perfecting his role within the triangle(no wasted motions, just catches and attacks)....he was simply never more fun to watch, and never better as a basketball player.

@jordanlover23 I've always personally felt like the 91-92 season was his TRUE peak year, in terms of explosive athleticism combined with the high I.Q./experience. It's almost like this season was a combination of rookie year MJ (explosiveness/physical) & Wizards' MJ (wisdom/mental)! LOL

@jaboo82681 Yeah, I was going to comment on that too. Crazy trash talking play backed up perfectly lol. Never seen the actual shot from the game angle, only the close-up on the "Airtime: The Jordan Years" video (same replay they show here). I never knew it was a 3-pointer, either, which makes it all the more impressive.
