What a beautiful man. I met Michael many years ago in Paso Robles where I saw him in concert and invited him to my restaurant about 4 miles from where he was staying. He ended up walking all the way down to meet with me and hang out for a couple of hours. He had a prior engagement that he was supposed to go to but he decided to visit me instead of going to that meeting. We became friends immediately. He said that we had kindred spirits. We kept in touch and I got to visit with him in Nashville and go to an interview he had at the Wildhorse saloon I spoke with Michael about 3 weeks before he passed and the last words he said to me was “I love you too”. Anyways…. I’ve watched this video before but I’m totally enjoying again. Blessings to his family. Carlos from Paso Robles, California. ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸

This song brings me way back to my childhood days, early teen. I didn’t know he had passed on from this life here, I just couldn’t get this song out of my head all day today. So I looked it up on KZread, listened to it, several times, haha, and added to my “ favs” list. Michael Johnson you were a great talent, beautiful voice, beautiful guitar player, beautiful soul. I was in the mood to hear Bluer Than Blue, and then I find out that Mr Johnson passed away back in July- I am now "sadder than sad"-- he was a great talent-- may you rest in peace and join all those other great talents in the afterlife for a great big choir of beautiful voices!!!

Wow! I've been a guitarist songwriter for 20+ years & I have to say his guitar playing & chord structures are amazing! The 70's have some of the best songwriting ever. Absolutely comes from the heart! He also has to be a classical guitarist. This song has all the heart notes that get you. Way to go MJ.

He's a classically trained guitarist. Some of his early albums from the 70s have great guitar parts in them.

I'm 23 yrs old and I appreciate this. Thus is far different from today's music. I really feel something different from old songs like this. It takes you away from reality for a moment. The lyrics has full of sense and the melody 🎶 is so beautiful. Sometimes I wish I was born on the late 60s or 70s
