Michael Jai White Doubles Down on His 2Pac Story After Outlawz Reaction (Part 22)

Part 21: • Michael Jai White: Sug...
Part 1: • Michael Jai White, Who...
--------
In this clip, Michael Jai White reacted to the controversy his story about hanging with 2Pac sparked, particularly coming from the Outlawz, and specifically Napoleon. Michael also refuted Napoleon's theory that he was harboring animosity toward Pac for being slighted while he worked at a hotel in New York City. Michael said he's never worked at a hotel in NYC and won't allow anyone to undermine his personal story.

While I respect Michael White, and clearly he’s had some amazing times in his life, it always seems like he reports having a deep and unique experience with every culturally relevant person. And it always seems like his presence was the catalyst for these experiences. Meaning, he sees himself as some transformative figure who either directly or indirectly deeply impacted these icons. It’s like he sees himself as everyone’s sansei, and just by his very deep and powerful presence- these icons are profoundly touched. They learn from him. Seems like a bit of a self serving recollection.

We all act differently according to the company we’re in. Our friends will have a different perception of you than the people you work with. You could ask 4 different people you’ve encountered in your life to describe you : a family member, a friend, a work colleague and a casual acquaintance and they’ll all paint a different picture of you. That’s what makes us human.

My point is just because your doing something to better yourself that doesn’t mean you ain’t up to no good or that you not the same person you was before. That’s like the rock being a wrestler one moment then a actor he better himself for the long hall. That type of thinking that just because one from here or one did this he can’t do this is why a lot of ppl miss out on they dreams.

The fact that Tupac knew how to turn it on and off shows his diversity, that’s not the problem with the story, it’s Michael speaking on a man that’s not here to defend himself and making him sound fake “oh some black people must of came in” and the statement “because I was a certain way, he would act a certain way” those two statements right there make the man sound fake and like a follower. So they hold his memory, and hold on to their time with him. We all do the same. However they refuse to take off the rose coloured glasses when it comes to him and get mad at others who do. No one is one dimensional but my personal opinion Pac was more "naturally" of a nerd & funny type of guy to the core but to survive where he ended up living in places like NY & Marine City; Pac had to put on a tough personality to survive the hood & pursue the rap career.

Vlad did not interview Napoleon when he spoke about this. I can already see the information getting diluted. MJW is supposed to be smart but vlad moves him around and makes him speak on que. He literally responded to pieces of information. MJW still hasn’t met up with Mike Perry after all that talk.
