I'm fortunate I met him in my early yrs at least At the Iowa State Fair. Then some 30yrs later met his brothers except Jermaine at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi Ms and then again 2 more times meeting them 2 of those concerts. I miss him so much. The Grandest Entertainer Of All Time.

The thing about Michael that makes him forever different from anyone else is that he didn't just dance, he WAS the dance personified, he WAS the dance in its corporeal form. It wasn't just doing choreo, or doing precise moves, it was living and breathing the dance, his every pore, every cell, every breath, every micro-expression, every hair strand danced, that's why the energy and precision coming from him was so different and that's why they say that nobody moves like Michael Jackson. There are so many other, younger artists who are incredible dancers and they're technically perfect and do the moves just right and correct, but what they're doing is DANCING amazingly, but they aren't DANCE itself like Michael, that's the difference. They're perfect like all those background dancers who studied for years and are the best in the biz and can outdance anyone, but you put Michal in front of background dancers and he will stand out and look unique and even more smooth and mesmerizing.

No disrespect to Chris but Mj got 5 decades easy in reinvention of dance, endless classic hits and sold out shows across the world. Its no debate. MJ is da GOAT!

100% Spot on, I’ve noticed this as well. While we have some in the comments arguing that newer dancers are better because they do more dances, they never seem to nail moves like MJ did. His timing and smoothness was unmatched. Nobody attempting to do his moves look right. It always looks off/sloppy compared to MJ.

Chris himself has said out of his own mouth that no one will ever be as great as MJ was and no one can touch Michael when it comes to dancing. Also, this dude didn’t even use Chris’s best dance performances or videos like for example: His James Brown Tribute in 2007, His MJ tribute in 2010, His BET performance in 2005, His VMA performance in 2011, the entire dance routine in “turn up the music” video, more of the “Fine China” video, and the “She Ain’t You” video(where he honors MJ and samples Human Nature).

MJ is this phenomenal, once in a lifetime dancing/performing talent. Chris Brown is that dude you knew from school who could dance real good.

Hands down, MJ is winner! Although they were both great dancers and Chris had some acrobatics incorporated in his dance moves, you can clearly see Chris replicating MJ’s dance moves! MJ was the best and no matter how many other artists try to duplicate MJ’s moves, they will never come close to the master!! He was the “King” for a reason! 👑🕺🎤💖

Chris can definitely move but Mehnn, *Michael* is a rare breed of a dancer... He's both smooth, energetic and electrifying, all at the same time... I've noticed over decades/years that they take some of MJ's moves here, try to copy him. Every time I see someone dance and sometimes in movies (certain body moves, not dance) theu have bits of MJ makes me sometime laugh cause they can't....

i’ve studied michael and chris dancing since a kid michael dancing is more structured and smooth while chris is more acrobatic and freestyle but he blends well with hip hop, flips , and ballet. phenomenal dancers chris has more advantages when it comes to dancing

First of all...how dare anyone compare themselves to Michael Jackson!!?? Who does that?? Everyone has to come up to his level, period. He's literally the bar, he set the stage, he made danceing pop and hip-hop what it is today. His standard is epic. He literally invented his own style of performing, and if anyone wants to be considered a dancer themselves they have to study his moves. Chris Brown is good, I can't deny that. But the title of this video should be something like, Look How Awesome Chris Brown Dances Like MJ. And honestly that's what Chris does, he imitates. He's a good student who leant well from the teacher. Chris Brown has looks, he can sing and dances like MJ, that's why is such a good entertainer. But unless you pay homage to the King of Pop, don't even bother.
