For those of you who don't know, Michael Jackson actually helped compose the music for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. He didn't like how the music came out on the genesis sound chip, however, and asked the crew to remove his name from the credits.

I love how at times, the gameplay syncs pretty well with Michael's singing. Loving this so much!

Sad to see that Sonic Origins didn’t revive such legendary music

Makes sense since Michael Jackson was originally supposed to compose the music for the game. Whether that's true or not is up for debate
