Hey Dominic, I am working on the Arturia Bass Patch too, I think the KEY FLW is a bit higher than "0", because listen to the Ad-Libs of Greg Philliganes on the third verse, and the Ad-Libs at the outro part.

If it's a Jupiter 8 it sounds identical!!!

Just make the attack to "0", and it's perfect i think !

Actually I think it sounds fine, the issue with what I played here is that the decay is slightly too short

I think that the arp2600 used on starlight but not on thriller.

Not true…………..the jupiter 8 was used on starlight…………….there are track sheets which say thriller bass: arp 2600, 2 minimoogs and electric bass.

Jupiter 8 may have been used on a “non final” version of thriller.

how did you make the patch!!!

@@humanharddrive1 What I mean’t was I don’t know about the actual internals of the synthesizer, I do know how the actual process of making a patch works, and nobody has been able to accurately replicate the sound on the ARP 2600.. If you were to watch the whole video, I also show a part of the track sheet that literally SAYS what the bass was played on.. that being the J-8
