No one will ever be as charismatic as he was on the stage. The way he could command a crowd was phenomenal!! His performances were phenomenal, exceptional, just pure greatness! The way he creates layers and texture to the music and the performances makes his work so exceptional and unique and something you will never get tired of watching and listening to! I've seen this convert so many times I know it like the back of my hand lol

I saw this tour at Wembley in 1992 it was great, this was when he (I figured out it was a stunt double!) flew off at the end in that jet pack after man in the mirror.

This concert was possible bc. his manager (at that time and for 20 years) was Romanian - - Marcel Avram. Marcel said, in an interview, that he and Michael cashed no money for this Concert at Bucharest. They agreed to donate them in Romania (for orphans and whatsoever) - after they paid all the dancers, backing vocals, engineers, ads... He had engineers, for his "magical" entrance on the stage,.... and for his exit from the stage... at last, he "flew" out of the scene, helped by smth. on his back, like oxygen tubes. I was lucky enough to see him live twice. Dangerous and History in Cologne Stadium Germany. Unforgettable experiences. What he did on the stage with the globe (heal the world), the graveyard (Thriller) , the Tank (Earth song) etc etc. Unbelievable stuff.

My favorite was the dance break 😣 This man would just stand there and release so much charisma and energy!!! KING IS SLAYING 👑

I can’t even imagine how many times he must’ve had to practise that entrance to make sure he landed it every time in the shows! How much confidence he must’ve had to even attempt it in front of 100,000 people, let alone every night! And to do that with adrenaline pumping around ahead of the show and still land it. And let’s be honest, he couldn’t stayed stood there for the next 2 hours, walked off stage and we’d have all thought it was the best show we’d ever seen🙌🏼

To really appreciate this you need to understand the context. In 1992 Romania was a very very poor country that just came out of Communism through a bloody revolution in December 89. The Romanians had never ever seen something like this live, only on bootleg VHS tapes people brought illegally into the country. They did have freedom for 2 years when this happens, but nobody ever had hoped to dream something like this would happen in Romania, yet it did, and it was real and they were there ..
