As sad as that sounds I'm quite content with that knowing full well that MJ was indeed that artist that had given me that luxury to witness that in my lifetime. 🥰 And that in itself is the icing on the cake. @@royesanmiguel Well, for 2 wks (pre-Christmas), we had -43*with peak, steady windchills of -50 ish. Yup, I did the “boiling water-freezing in mid-air” trick! Then that extreme cold moved South to the U.S and it really created a Monster! Tho we were glad to see it go, we were shocked at what chaos it created. We had had 10mph winds, but they became more like hurricane winds! We can handle that weather, as we’re all used to it. We don’t love it, but we manage to carryon life, normally, because we prepare for Winter. Our snow is extremely DRY, like shovelling pellets of styrofoam (as long as it stays cold and doesn’t warm-up, during Winter). It’s actually a bother when trying to snow-blow because it’s SO light and fluffy, that it all blows-back in our faces! Our electricity is all distributed underground, so power failures are extremely rare! We (almost) all have snow-mobiles and would be tickled-pink to be allowed to drive them downtown, If called upon! We believe we haven’t had a true Winter unless we get a good long spell of -40 to -50. But, Seeing what happened down South….I can speak for all of us, when I say…”We’d have rather let it hang over us, than have it pass on, to the Americans, where it created such terrible 😞 consequences.
