Michael Jackson - Leave Me Alone (Official Video)

Музыка

Official Video for “Leave Me Alone” by Michael Jackson
Listen to Michael Jackson: MichaelJackson.lnk.to/_listenYD
Michael Jackson’s short film for “Leave Me Alone” is the seventh of nine short films for the “Bad” album. The visually stunning short film is the first of Michael’s songs and short films that serve as commentary on the media frenzy that often surrounded him and features a surreal amusement park built around a giant Michael tied down like Gulliver in the classic book Gulliver’s Travels. The short film won a Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video and was ranked one of the Top 10 Music Videos in a 2008 Rolling Stone critics’ poll.

I don't agree that Michael Jackson "had a heart of gold." Just look at his treatment of his little step-sister, Joh'Vonnie Jackson (the innocent daughter of his father's mistress), just like that of most of his family. The only people with a heart of gold in the Jackson Family were mother Katherine and eldest sister Rebbie. But as a musician Michael Jackson was simply out of this world. The problem is we tend to idolise people who are simply great as sportsmen, singers and other talents. There is no evidence to my knowledge that Michael Jackson was a particularly disagreeable human being. But there is evidence - as already mentioned - that he was just like the rest of them, that is, like most people.

MJ is showing us the pain we went through in our lives, he is sharing the knowledge with us so that we can move forward, it would be egotistical of him to want us just to listen to his story, he wants us to also learn from ourselves and is expressing this through the power of music.

The people who labelled him were just as culpable as him but they were scared as he was calling them out out their own failures. Sometimes you have to read between the lines to understand the truth. I just think that he made this song for his haters, asking them, to stop this accusing... In the video when Michael Jackson was preparing himself for This Is It, he says "This Is It, this is... this is the... final curtain call, ok? bye... then..." In one of is documentary, he says like "Don't forget me and remember, don't accuse me, cause i'm innocent, see you tomorrow!! ok?" and when he goes to bed, he says Dr. Murray; "Just let me sleep, i don't want nothing at all, just, put me to sleep, ok? In that case, his doctor put an anastesia in his hand... and then... TG: Sounds that Michael Jackson died for an anastesia called Propofol, which make people sleep and that medicine should be outlaw for other patients!! remember, he was accused for children pedofilia when he goes to bed, he later decleared that he goes to bed with his little lovers because he likes their innocence... 😓😓😥😥😓😓 STOP HATING MICHAEL JACKSON PLEASE!! He's my 2nd favorite, while Hatsune Miku is at 1st place!! 😃😃😄😄🤗🤗

The concept of this video is so telling. The media is portrayed as dogs because they constantly hounded him and he's telling them "Just stop dogging me around." By this point, Michael was already labeled as a freak so you notice there's a freak show in the video; the two headed goat, the two headed tiger, the weird bird creature...etc. At the end, Michael's body is intertwined with a roller coaster and other amusement park rides. He's basically saying that he felt he was this object that the media used to get amusement by ridiculing him. Like they had fun doing it. You see the tabloid newspapers with headline after headline about him. He's literally yelling to them "LEAVE ME ALONE!" They, unfortunately, never did and still slander his name in death.

bean Oh, absolutely he did. I'm not debating that at all. He and his team started a couple of the weird rumors about himself in the 80s in an attempt to make himself seem mysterious and intriguing. That backfired tremendously and grew out of control. Couple that with him refusing to do interviews and his changing appearance and it just all combined to make a disaster for him. A LOT of his woes, he brought on himself. That whole "innocent/wholesome" thing he was doing back in the 80s backfired, too. Everybody thought he was a virgin which then moved to gay rumors. Even on the Oprah interview in '93 when she asked him if he was a virgin, he should've just said "no", but in keeping up with his image, he gave some vague answer. When he was married to LMP, she told him to just stop that whole image thing because it wasn't working anymore and to just be himself but he wouldn't do it. In spite of all that, I still think it's terrible how he was completely dehumanized by the media. Regardless of his mistake by inciting the attention of the media, their subsequent behavior toward him was/is awful.

God23 no it was his mother's fault. He said himself he did not want people to pick and pick on everything about him and that he was trying to not show himself to people. If you would've met him in person, he would've been shyer than you(in general). But that's why he just let it all loose because his mother told him it was going to be ok.

We live in a world in which society crushes good people like Michael but tolerates behaviors like abuse, exploitation etc. on a daily basis and psychopathy at the very top of society. Michael was a much better human being than in any of these scumbag abusers. But of course the brainwashed sheeps believe their mass media like robots. Disgusting.
