@@des_elise "extremely talented" is a reach. Having two or more multiple talents that your average at isn't insanely talented. Bruno Mars is a GOOD singer, GOOD dancer, GOOD songwriter. He's not amazing in every category. Do you even know what "insanely talented" means? Because I promise you there's been so little human beings in history who are ACTUALLY insanely talented and Michael was one of them. In 1999, Michael Jackson produced the song "People of the World" for the Japanese Pop group J-FRIENDS in support of the Kobe relief effort. He offered to work with J-FRIENDS planning and co-produced this song with Japanese producer Yasushi Akimoto. The japanese release of the song has the voices from the members of V6, TOKIO and KinKi Kinds. If olny Michael could have recorded the song with them, so talented voices.

Imagine if the world came together for once and we started singing this song, the feeling would be never forgotten

  • @-breakofdawn-

    @-breakofdawn-

    2 жыл бұрын

The world would’ve come together a long time ago already, but in case you haven’t noticed, the people don’t have a say. Do you think if you ask the populace of ANY country whatsoever, that they would WANT war and oppression? Do you think ANYONE would refuse to be friends with people of other countries and cultures? I don’t think so. The original idea of rulers was that they do what the people want. The people are the sovereign, not governments! Governments are supposed to listen to their populace, to be transparent in all things they do, and if they fail to do good and act in the best interest of the people, then they must go and be replaced. However, that’s just the idea. In reality, governments don’t give two cents about their populace, there’s thousands of secret missions, operations, decisions, and contracts most people don’t know about, and if the people make use of their legal right to protest against a government that only has the politicians personal interests and gain in mind, they are ignored, threatened, or brainwashed by the media who also do the governments’ bidding. And not only that - nowadays governments do not even have the power anymore, they’re puppet rulers for others with even more money and influence. So long story short, if the world does not come together’s, it’s hardly the people’s fault. We do not have quarrels with one another, it is those in power that prevent this from happening. Michael tried to hint at that and bring the message across in his Exeter speech from 2002. I think in this day and age, his songs and speeches must be heard again, the original early versions like this song, not posthumously released altered stuff that he never approved of. He dedicated his entire life and a lot of his money not only to save the children, but also to help us understand where we have gone wrong, and how we must change our ways of thinking to keep spreading the light that he brought into this dark world of ours. We didn’t listen when he was still alive, and see where we are now. Let’s make sure at least this time around we pay attention to what he tried to tell us. It’s not too late yet, if we do this and keep his legacy alive.
