Obviously he doesn't as the Bible says his aim was to replace God, thus he does not know he will lose. The word of God tells his future, and I have no doubt he's read and heard of it. However, that in no way means he believes it.

Satan was kicked out of Heaven due to his rebellion. He knows exactly what is coming and how soon. He is going to be tied up for 1000 years, so if you might have noticed the world going crazy...Satan has kicked up his efforts to steal souls and deceive as many as he can. The second coming of Christ is at hand.

They are driven by their lust for power and hatred for people and The Lord. Satan wants to have complete Dominion over this realm. By feeding off of our sin, our world becomes more dysfunctional and they have more power over us. But through Christ sin has been conquered. Demons try to scare you and torment you because if they can get you to fear them than they are getting you to not fear God over them. Creating more sin. The more sin, the more power the devil gains over our lives, and the devil wishes to torment us with diseases, plagues, natural disasters, etc. Satan is the great Archon(Ruler) who is the Zues of ancient Rome, Baal of Mesopotamia, Odin of the norse, and Quatzequatel of the aztecs, who receives worship even unto today by those who are blinded by his influence.

Right. I dont agree with this take. I believe Satan is more-so a tool used for Gods Will as shown in Job. Regardless of how rebellious satan(s) endeavors are they ultimately lead to Gods Will being fulfilled in the end. We see this at the end of Job, we see this at the end of Revelation 20 with satans release & subsequent ultimate defeat just as prophesied. So although sin & rebellion are against God, God is still sovereign in that these practices still lead to Gods Ultimate Will in the end regardless of the effort of adversaries.

The fallen angels do not have any hope. They know they are doomed forever. They also can no longer experience any of the good things that we as humans can experience, like love, joy, hope, forgiveness, etc. Every year that passes, the burden of their guilt and sins grows. Imagine living thousands of years, but never being able to ask God for forgiveness for any of your sins.

True Bankai - Well we know they aren’t granted any forgiveness anyway. Elohim have no way to salvation. So it’s not that they don’t want it - they are denied it. Hence all the more reason to keep striking back and pushing the end as far away in time as they possibly can. What’s humorous is that they think they are still defying God with some level of success, when in fact it’s only that God is allowing them more time as part of his plan to gather the gentiles. It’s his agenda, not theirs, but they seem a bit oblivious to it...or perhaps just in denial.

I accepted Christ when I was 7, my Church took my commitment very seriously. As Matthew 19:14 tells us to let young kids come to Jesus and don’t disregard their commitment because of their age.We had a meeting to ensure I was properly briefed on the life of spiritual warfare I was entering into. I’m in my twenties now, and everything the Bible says: from the parable of the seeds,to the fact that there will always be wars and rumors of wars is True. Jesus said “I am the way the Truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. They also told me when I accepted Christ, some people think being a Christian makes life easier,but this actually means Satan will now attack you for the rest of your life. They told me that since I had Jesus, he can withstand anything but it will not be easy, but God will complete His life for me.This has been proved countless times since. I thank God everyday for Jesus and the life of purpose and deep fulfillment He’s already given me.

like other miserable losers in life, they realize that they can't make it, so they enjoy having a hand in making sure others do not as well.

this last 100 or so years has been the bumper time for demons. especially the last 20-30 years. drinks, drugs, music, film. and latterly video games and social media. they've had a field day. they've never had a better time. no more.

There is nothing new under the sun! A wise man said that. I’m 67 and I agree that the last 30+ years have degraded for the worse. The smart phone, computers, the Internet, DEMENTOCRATS, and many other things have lowered the quality of life. The USA is galloping to become the modern Sodom and Gomorrah; we have a ways to go but there is no doubt that the blood of 72,000,000 innocent lives from abortion will be paid for in our judgement!! Watching football on the Sabbath and the violation of every commandment will result in our judgement. Remember that Jesus cried when He saw what was going to happen!! God bless you brother.

To be honest if we are students of history you’d see that it’s really no worse now than it ever has been. Death and destruction have followed humanity since the fall, the Roman Empire, the French Revolution,etc. time proves that there is nothing new under the sun.

Project Camelot interviewed a man, one of the most intelligent people I have ever seen interviewed. Kerry Cassidy asked him at the end of the interview why. Why would they continue this agenda knowing the end can not favor them. Bill Woods answer, they are insane.

@jay The end IS a positive thing, but some Christians seem to want the powder keg in the Middle East ignited so as to bring upon us earlier the end of this age and the return of Christ. What these people don't get, I think, is that, like Mike said, the return of Christ is dependent upon the fullness of the Gentiles. The side of evil, then, is simply engaging in whatever tactics are necessary to delay the fullness of the Gentiles and this extends their reign here as long as possible.

The devil and his angels are under the constraints of time, space, and matter. The universe is naturally ordered. That's why we can analyze it and make predictions with science. If there were millions of beings working their own petty agendas outside of (and above) the constraints of natural laws then we would know it by seeing the chaos. Satan cannot do anything except what God allows. Revelation does seem to imply that he will be unchained to show his true power for a little while in the last days.

Every day we are that much closer.

They have no choice but to war because its clear in their hearts that they have no method of redemption. They know they are without God, that is an infuriating reality to them.

Can you imagine for them they cannot receive grace and mercy from God like we can due to their original estate. I wonder if that has anything to do with the passage “As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. This is way believers need to be evangelizing. It's not about getting distracted with what your government is doing and not doing. It's about winning lost people to Christ Jesus. If you want God's Kingdom to come faster; start winning the lost to Christ Jesus. Not stockpiling food and supplies and hiding out from the government.

The numbers of those who self-identify as Christians is in steep decline. Churches don't convert sinners so much as take members away from each other (i.e. church members playing musical churches.) I am an old man and in my lifetime I have known only a handful of people, in or out of the church, who had a deep interest in things of the spirit. There must be some other route to bringing in the Earthly Kingdom of God. As far as I can tell the evangelism way isn't working.

The demons that Jesus sent into the herd of swine asked Jesus if he is sending them to the abyss before their time, so they knew that they were going to the abyss.

That makes sense. And Yes. Please do a chat about the day of the Lord!

No, it does not make any sense. "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. " 2 Thes 2. It seems to me the Devil is unpatient, cannot wait to throw the Antichrist into the scene. It is not stalling, he WANTS to bring the end of days. But it would have made more sense (just saying) to theorize about the number of Devil's army. That when he had a third of the angels, he lost. And then he lost again at the cross. So the only viable option is war at Jerusalem. Why Jerusalem? There's the door to Heaven, right under God's feet. That's why he will declare himself God in the Temple. That spot is the direct link to Heaven. There is another door at Bethel, Jakob's ladder. He thinks that last time Michael defeated him because of the numbers. This is a more viable theory: WAR. This evangelist is "humanizing" Satan, he seems unable to grasp the concept of pure evil, not being able to stop from doing evil and finding pleasure in it. The Holy Spirit is in the world and yet how much evil can we do? Now imagine something absolutely separated from God, in which there is no love. What Lucifer did not want to understand is that no one can have more goodness than God and even more: no one can be good from himself. The moment he stepped down from his position and sinned was the moment he was utterly transformed into a (powerful) dragon, nothing good in him. These evangelists should STOP HUMANIZING SATAN because his evil is not negotiable: yes, he would rip in you in half and send you to Heaven if he cannot convince you to renounce Christ. Those who refuse 666 will be beheaded. So no, it does not make any sense what this man is talking. Better than humanizing Satan, the answer would have been: I don't know, bro, what makes the Devil tick, and maybe we will never find out because in Heaven we will look at him as you look at garbage: "But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet." (Is. 14:19)

Satan knows he is NOT going to win. He knows his time is coming to an end. He’s just trying to trick as many souls as possible to go with him.

The pastor from People's Church in Toronto wrote The Quest for Souls. He said Satan's forces were especially fierce against foreign missions for the reasons described here

There's one thing that drives King Lawful Evil - SPITE. Such is the case with those "already Judged" and knowing it.

I feel/think this time is at hand many things have shown me this which scares me for people sometimes to a point of heartache & panic!

I captured an image that showed about 20 entities with precise detail, revealing their nature: demons, and after I had finished outlining them for a picture, the image then became fuzzy and their shapes became distorted. They were one step ahead of me.

I had not thought of this before - the main objective of the kingdom of darkness is to buy time - forestall their ultimate judgment that they know is coming. Hence the fierce opposition all over much of the world against cross-cultural evangelism - missions. Matthew 24:14 - And this gospel must first be preached as a witness to all ethnos, and then the end shall come.

The way I see it: Satan does not believe he is doing bad. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes. Man isn't much different from Satan and is of his father the devil. Look at it again in Isaiah 14. Satan did not try to overthrow God. In pride, he desired to be LIKE the most high and help him his own way. This is what iniquity is. Doing good things (supposedly) but it's not God's way. I believe he thinks God will come around to his way of thinking. Satan appears in heaven daily to argue with God. He did this with Job. He is the accuser of the brethren. "God, you're not doing things the right way. You should do it my way." I think is what Satan says. Satan has his own laws, humanist manifesto for example; and his own gospel. He believes man should work for everlasting life. He is clueless about "love". For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Satan and those he deceives will go to Hell because they do not believe in God's love through Jesus sacrifice on the cross.

He's just trying to get every soul he can burning in Hell. It's about taking us all with him.

With fallen angels working against Jesus just as the Jewish leadership was doing at the time, it leads me to believe that the parable of the wicked servants was not only an inditement of the leadership at the time, but of the fallen angels to a certain degree.

The "plan" of all the ungodly is to cease to exist. They actually hate existing, and existence itself. Which means they hate the source of existence, God. So they don't think about "winning" or "losing", they only think about how to end everything, including themselves.

He was clearly indicating that when you only rely on written text then you're relying on your human brain to interpret God's Words. That's not adequate. The Scribes and Pharisees made the same mistake.

As an atheist i must say my life has changed for the better since I stopped believing in ridiculous things such as but not limited to heaven or hell. I quit worrying about if i was living right by gods standards and started living my life as if its the only one i get. When i read the bible as a Christian i was scared of life, if i do one thing that god doesn’t like i can get tortured or cease to exist depending on which verse you read or how you interpret it. When i read the bible again as an atheist i realized that if god truly existed then that being should be put on trial and found guilty for its crimes against humanity.

His mission is to 1.Steal 2.Kill 3.Destroy. He didn’t come here to win because he has already lost. He simply wants to recruit.

Any faint hope that they could influence their future fate was utterly demolished on a hill outside Jerusalem 2,000 years ago. The Word tells us that Christ mocked them in the presence of angels. They can however win souls to join them in their place. That's our job, to win them, for our place.

No, God gave MAN authority over the Earth, not satan. Nowhere does God give authority to the enemy. Any authority satan exercises over the Earth is purely due to deception. He simply tricks mankind into surrendering his authority to the kingdom of darkness.

Yes satan is behind it, but men have a choice and they CHOSE to do evil! There's very little that satan can do without A) God's permission and B) Man's cooperation

Satan and his fallen angels know their destiny. They know that Jesus is going to trash them into the Eternal Lake of Fire. This is why demons asked Jesus, "And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” -Matthew 8:29. So Satan and his minions definitely know that they are going to be eternally punished by God and their only purpose is to fool as many humans as they can to take them to the Lake of Fire with them. This is their insult to God. To rob as many souls as possible.

The verse Dr. Heiser was looking for: 2 Peter 3:12waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God. On that day the heavens will be set on fire and destroyed, and the elements will melt in the intense heat. If we can hasten the day of God, then with Satan hindering us, we can push it out. Satan's whole purpose is pushing out judgement day.

Henry Morris Sr speculated that Satan developed the theory of macro evolution convincing himself God evolved first, but Satan could manipulate his own evolution to equal or surpass Jehovah.

Once they rejected God they lost all freedom; they now have no choice but to fight a battle they know is lost.

They wanna take as many souls as possible because they hate humanity..Jesus will triumph in the end&they know it.thank you Jesus for freeing mankind!!

What was once of angels who had fallen, can no longer glory in the house of God, they are not angels...they are demon.

Very informative, but my question is this: in Dr. Heiser's opinion, and I realize it is only an opinion, what exactly keeps believers from "entering the Kingdom"? And what should believers be doing to ensure the success of the whole Operation? The answers might be obvious to some, but for a reformed Catholic like myself, having gone full circle from the Church, to Buddhism, to Theosophy, Anthroposophy and Gnosticism, and all the steps in between, they aren't clear to me. Thank you anyway. Every time I listen to Dr. Heiser I get a bit more clarity and that bit is precious at this time. Thank you.

One of my former theological professors stated that sin has driven Satan insane...he can't win but is so driven by hate and rage. Also, God is sovereign, and as Martin Luther pointed out, even the devil is still God's devil.

I recall that the book of Enoch speaks about how the fallen angels were shocked at God's response to Enoch's letter. I think this concerns the 200 watcher angels. I'm a little confused are they part of the 33 percent that were removed?

My understanding is that the 200 watcher Angel's left heaven by choice to go to earth and marry human females... They changed human DNA ... The remnants are still here today and are once again trying to destroy humans

Like a squatter in a beach house. He knows he's going to be evicted but wants as much time there as possible.

Dependence on organized religion, instead of Christ, is one method that certainly slows down the fullness of the gentiles 'coming into' the Kingdom of Christ.

It’s all about atonement. Rich famous people plus the unrighteous will pay for their crimes here on earth or forever alive in hell begging to die. That’s all that is left to complete. Failure to compensate they who’s lives they’ve robbed, all those involved will be paying at the judgment. There is no free ticket out!

Still wonder why "the princepalaties on high places" takes the devils side, knowing they choose the side of the "loser"?

@@arqeph.private Well, I can remember when I was 2 years old and honest, I really don't remember that there was sin in me....... As far as I can remember, it came only later. When we are born, we are kind of a "love song" of God without sin: sin penetrates us out of this world (i.m.o.).

The only plausible explaination that gives the greatest benefit of the doubt to the fallen Elohim is: 1) There is a legal question at work (involving humanity) that they believe they can win in order to preserve themselves. 2) They do not believe that YHWH is the highest God and source of life. Outside of these it could only be nihilism.

The Nature of Satan and his angels is like that of a beast....they have absolutely no control and are hungry for the evils. They taught man those evils and then, they themselves became chained to those evil desires. So, they are not trying to defeat God as much as they are trying to perpetuate evil eternally

Their status is temporary only. Jesus work on the cross says it all. I sleep easier knowing.

Satan believes he has a legitimate call to the throne because of what he knows about dark matter. What he doesn’t understand is how light can come out of darkness and therefore overpower it!! This is a spiritual battle and these words don’t do full justice but, the devil feels he’s an scholar in darkness and light

God can destroy all the evil in the universe without batting an eyelid. He is so vastly more powerful. Pretty sure evil knows that.

Isaiah 24:21-22 is the answer along with those who usurp The Throne of God and His Son. All Kabbalists will be with them.

The Almighty would not tolerate them if they did not serve a purpose and that purpose is judgement. "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." - Matthew 10:34

Praying you have surrendered completely to the Lord and are walking in spirit and in truth. Its not easy but its so worth it.

This has always baffled me. I try to put myself in their position. I think we can all agree these fallen spirits are vastly more powerful and intelligent then we could ever hope to be. If I were in their position I would be looking to marginalize my losses. What do I mean by this? They must understand they have lost and will face final judgement, but the nature of that judgement will surely vary. ie; Satan's judgement will surely be more severe than some low-level imp foot soldier's punishment. I would not be looking to add to my sorrows by continuously doing evil on this earth and corrupting mankind. Fallen Angels still have free will. They can still make choices. Yes, redemption may be closed to them, but the retribution they ultimately face is within their control. Rational intelligent creatures would seek to minimize the punishments. If the answer is that they are now enslaved evil and can do nothing else, does that not in of itself sort of mitigate their actions? Yes, they are made the wrong choice in following Lucifer, but all their subsequent actions really in their control?

I think Satan knows God has a timeline and there will be no changing that. For Jesus first coming was on the day, necessarily, on time.

You know what they can take souls. There's a movie with Michael York I think it's from the eighties he plays the Anti-Christ character. At the end his brother says, he has a brother, this is before the demon spirit takes him over. His brother says to him look you have lost and he says no look all the souls I have gained.

I think it's just pettiness. It's observable in human behavior, why wouldn't fallen angels be similar? If you can't bring yourself up, the only thing to do is try and bring others down to your level. Destroy them like you're destroyed.
