There's less than a handful of riders who can realistically topple Hicky if everything goes right for him. Michael is one of them. 21 wins - just think about that for a second because we hear a lot about JM's wins but people seem to gloss over where Michael is at. Wish him good luck, always a great rider to watch.

Agree. You only have to look at the unbelievable lap time he did on the 600 last year to know he is still at the top of his game and more than capable of bridging that gap on the right bike.

Also 2 of John’s wins are the in the one lap TT Zero. MD also reached 21 at 33 years old, John hit 23 at age 43. Plus Michael lost 2 years to Covid, he’d probably have more by now if we raced in ‘20 and ‘21

@@chrisclifford4109 Michael needs a solid team setup, last couple of visits have been last minute deals with little to no testing on the bikes, no good enough for a rider of his calibre, Hickman, harrison, Todd have what looks to be a rock solid team backing their every move

I Couldn't agree more gents 👍 to put it in perspective his uncle Joey won his 1st TT in 1977 aged 25 and his 26th and final win 23 years later in 2000 aged 48. And Michael in 14 years has took 21 😮

I have come to respect and admire Michael more and more as he matures. I wish him and his team all the very best for the future.!

If anyone can climb on a new bike (to him) and win it's Michael. He did it with the BMW and the Suzuki. He's a prodigious talent and with 21 wins and that fierce determination he can do it. I hope the Honda is up to the task as the BMW of Hickman and the Kawasaki of Dean Harrison are clearly the machines to beat. I and many others would love to see MD on the top step again. 👍👍

What a legend, I really hope the team gets behind him and delivers. Yes MD can be a bit abrasive but he is an amazing rider, pure raw talent and if the bike and conditions are right I'm sure he can smash the lap record. Everyone in Hawk needs to give 110% at all times, this guy is giving his all each race and the stakes are unbelievably high.

He's his own man. Fed up with the polished off nice guy crap from the rest of them. This man can build his own, ride his own, doing it his way, a tour de force that holds many records and will no doubt make many more

Michael Dunlop has to be the most passionate and toughest rider out there! I pray that my dad and I will be able to see him race in person soon. Going to work extra hard to make it happened.

I saw Michael last year on the Suzuki Classic Superbike at the Manx GP. Impressive, always the first on track during practice and we felt that he wanted more than the others... He's got the rage, that's obvious... I saw his uncle Joey in 85, 86 and 87 and it would be nice if 2 Dunlops could be the ones who won the TT the most times... As others have said if anyone can win on a new bike it's Michael. What a privilege to see him do the ton lap on the Gilera from a standing start with a puddin basin on , and he doesn't mind having a selfie too .Thanks Michael top man .

J'ai vu Michael l'année passée sur la Suzuki Classic Superbike lors du Manx GP. Impressionnant, toujours le premier en piste lors des essais et on sentait qu'il en voulait plus que les autres... Il a la rage, c'est évident... J'ai vu son oncle Joey en 85, 86 et 87 et ce serait chouette si 2 Dunlop pouvaient être ceux qui ont gagné le plus de fois le TT... He might not be the most loved racer but if it doesn't matter to him, then it doesn't matter. The man is a gifted racer and will do what he does. Can't take anything away from him. He's def moving up to be my favorite racer. Can't force him to love or be loved by the camera. Keep up the hard work MD and making the switch to Hawk Racing sounds like a great choice!

Everyone here in Ireland loves him, does us all proud. A real road racer boy to man, he has the name but no one ever put a silver spoon in his mouth, hard working, hard riding and he doesn't care if you don't like him 🤣

No, that clip was 2014 when he was riding the full factory bmw, that bike that year was the strongest bike with 225 whp he won both races,Superbike and senior,after 75 years Bmw not winning at the TT

Am sure there is a balance, not about just most HP........it effects everything and I am sure that's 225 at the wheel not the crank..... They can make more but again....reliability, handling, suspension all play a part......the perfect balance.......not to mention hanging on fir 2 hrs straight, lol Unbelievable race

Michael dunlop is the best...hands down flat out the best period. Fuck hicky and and the rest of the big race teams Micheal is and always will be the best on the day if he has been given the right package. I'm glad hes back with hawk racing 😊

MD's talent is amazing and I must conclude by looking at how big his arms are that his balls are equally large and made of iron...

Just get that bike ready in time for the racin' and this on for some superior entertainment.

I can see Michael is Riding Honda’s, 600 and 1000, but what are they....in line 4’s....V4 ? cause they sound different.
