Dudikoff was not an actual martial artist, but had good on screen presence. Bradley on the other hand is a very skilled martial artist.

I thought David Bradley was very efficient in his combat scenes. You could tell by his form and movement he was very familiar with kicks/punches.

Not true, Dudikoff was in training, and after the first American Ninja received belts in atleast 3 disciplines one being Black👑

@@DArtmanreignz 😂Probably "Honorary " Belts. Dude had some presence but was Major weak in the Martial Arts Department. I Remember back then BLACK BELT magazine or one of the other popular books back in the day did a story on " the Bunkaroos": Guys who at the time had found a modicum of fame portraying Martial Artist ON SCREEN BUT WHO ACTUALLY KNEW"NONE". DUDIKOFF was definitely and RIGHTFULLY listed, his moves Sucked 😂🤣but the Ninja films were cool then.

@@bronzetiger3837 No they are actual belts, he was listed in that magazine during the time when he wasn't a practitioner. He didn't start training and getting into shape until American Ninja and that was just for the film, after the film he started full fledged training. His size and lanky build made him appear a bit stiff at times is all, I certainly wouldn't call him a top Martial Artist though👑

Seriously though, Joe Armstrong was a pretty good concept. And the 80's, with probably a limited budget, did the best they could. Could be a pretty cool movie if reinvented to the current time.
