My son was riding with his grandmother when he was six years old when he first heard Michael sing. He fell in love with him and the messages his songs bring. He is now 33 years old. He has every album and soundtrack Michael has recorded. There was a special bond that happened on that day 27 years ago and it's still going strong today!! JESUS carried him home in 1998.he put over 300,000 miles on a '67 dodge dart slant six preaching the gospel. My first car was a '66 Dodge Dart slant 6 engine. You couldn't wear that car out. It was my first car and my Dad gave it to me in my last year of high school. That made it more special because my Dad is in Heaven now and lived a long prosperous life to 90 yrs old. I miss you so Dad !

Thank you, Michael - for this beautiful testimonial song. Been serving the Lord ( over 50 years ago ) since surrendering my life to serving Jesus wherever He placed me in life. I'm 72 wrestling with Parkinson's Disease for the past 5 years. Recently the nightmare of my life begins 6:PM - 6:AM; as I hang onto my pillow I sing this - "Carry me home..."

7/13/24 The best song and voice of all my lifetime. 80 tomorrow.Fay

I played this for my sister after she took a massive stroke and we were told there was no hope .Well we played it and the peace that passed all understanding was all over her wee face .It was beautiful .It comforted my daughter and myself .Thank God for singers like Michael Coombs he sings from his heart and that is what we needed that night .The next day my beautiful sister went peacefully in her sleep.

Thank the Lord for this song. Carry me home Jesus. I'm so tired of this world.

Anyone that could put a thumbs down to this song, has never had a minister in their family my husband preach for 51 years until God took him home in 2012 everywhere this man went he carried his Bible when we would travel in our RV or in our car to revivals the Bible was always on the dash of his vehicle he was a true man of God put God first in everything and when he was passing away he would still Pat his foot to the music that we played for him Christian music and my daughter would set and read Psalms 23 to him and when the Lord took him he closed his eyes and was gone I played this song too our children and they said Man, that fits Dad to a T He went by faith, where ever God opened a door to preached he went was. A Tent preacher, Evangelist, pastor , A true prophet of God.

God has used Michael in so many great ways. It was a Sunday evening at our country church I first heard Michael sing and it was as God spoke straight to my heart. I am very thankful for Michael and Denise and how they continue to serve our God. This is a very special man in deed. God Bless.

I heard this song after Billy Graham passed away. What a fitting song for that man

I love this song,I can hear it over and over again. My mom pasted away in 2019 and we played this song in her funeral, it was a very special blessing because it was so much like her life I thank you Jesus for my Brother Michael , for his anointing voice and ministry God bless you!!

Juanita, my son also passed away in 2019. He knew he would die from his disease(ALS). He would motion for me to keep repeating this song. It was playing as he passed from this world to Heaven. We played it at his funeral also. I’m sorry for your loss. Our dear ones got carried away by Jesus. They’re Home. And I’m crying like I know you must surely be also. We have shared so many good times together and chat almost daily. He is so much fun to be around. God has truly been good to him and brought him through some tough health issues. I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......praise God for people like Michael Combs! I am grateful that we can gather together whether it’d be church congregation choir where two or more are gathered in his name there he will also be! However folks if you don’t know Christ as your savior then it burdens my soul to think that you are headed for a terrible place called Hell where the Bible says the fire is never quenched and the worm dies not! Folks you are not promised tomorrow! If you want to know how to be saved from this horrible reality then please by all means don’t hesitate to comment right back so I can lead you to the savior! 2 Corinthians 6:2 clearly states “now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation!” And Hebrews 3:15 clearly states, “Today if you hear his voice don’t harden your hearts! it is not me but the Holy Spirit that I pray reveals to you the truth of his precious gospel......John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes on him will not perish but have everlasting life! V 17 says then V 18 says whoever believes on the son is not condemned but whoever does not believe on the son is condemned already because he has not believed on the son whom God has sent! Also Acts 16:30-31 what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house I am not threatening anyone but just warning them what will happen if they reject this precious gift of eternal life! Christ died a horrible criminals death! He was beaten brutally mocked spit upon and endured countless hours of torture pain for all of our sins! Ppl go to hell because they reject that pardon for their sins! And Jesus is saying to them in Matthew 25:41 depart from me you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels! Hell was only prepared for Satan and his angels! It is not God who threatens anyone it is the craziness of rejecting the free pardon of salvation! It’s like if you’re in court you’ve committed a crime say you murdered someone! Now if you say to that Judge hey I know I’ve done a terrible thing of murdering that person but I hear you’re a good judge and so I know you’ll be fair to me...... the judge is going to reply well yes you’re right about one thing I am a good judge and because I’m a good judge I’m going to see to it that you’re punished and that justice is served! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! God Bless everyone who reads!

Carry me Jesus is a cry for help from a humble heart to the Helper and Comforter, which is the Spirit of Jesus Christ and God Himself who is the Eternal One, the One and Only All Powerful Ghost of Power, and Love and Peace, and Life.

Bill Middleton, I hope you have already truly repented and accepted Jesus Christ. If not, I Implore you believe Jesus Christ and repent. Obey His words of Spirit and Life. Refrain from anger and forsake wrath, crucify the deeds of your sinful self by the Spirit of the Living God and you will not perish. But, and If you do not deny yourself and take up your cross daily, and choose to follow Jesus Christ everyday you are not worthy of God. Likewise you are not fit for the kingdom of God if you “turn back after you put your hand to the plow.” Read the Bible, Believe In Jesus Christ and follow Him before you listen to Christian music and speak perversely with malice, and if you are planning to go to church you should be serious about becoming a follower of Jesus Christ first. There is no place for sin in Gods Holy and Righteous Kingdom. You either are for God, and hungry to be Loving Jesus Christ and obeying Him or you are not for Jesus Christ and you disobey and hate God, following hard after satan. It’s what you choose. You have been given freewill to choose. Life or death. It’s your choice to agree with God and accept His grace upon the repentance of your sins, just as it is your choice to choose your sins over the Holy Ghost and deny God, His Flesh, and His new covenant in the blood of Jesus Christ.

God be with you. Once you're in Gods hands the Devil can't in no way pluck you out. He will do everything in his power to make your life miserable, but honey keep your eyes upon the Lord God Almighty and you will never go wrong. Praying God guides you along your way.

I'm with you. But 2014 The Spirit came and gave me awareness Truth and validation of scripture and I at 46yr first time I had unchangeable unshakable foundation for which I know that is Truth of Divine God is the Creator and Jesus Christ lived and gave us The New ever lasting Covenant and was crucified and died rose again and THAT The Holy Spirit is of The Triune and is Transforming me..that's my friend is where The Author of my Faith began and He will finish it I will be singing when the evening comes. I've never been so attacked I've lost everything else I used to call certain I thought I knew alot as I learned from the world family school kid. Every thing to me is learning and I love it. at 52 I'm realizing that I absolutely do not know much and if it is not from God its subject to scrutiny . Gods WORD, THE BIBLE AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE THE ONLY REAL TRUTH AND REAL LOVE. HES THE GREATEST I AM HE'S MY EVERY THING. BUT IT IS NOT A SMOOTH TRANSITION AND THE DEVIL IS FEROCIOUS I ACTUALLY QUIT FOR A MINUTE ONLY TO REMIND ITS NOT ABOUT ME IT'S ALL ABOUT HIS PLAN FOR ME TO LOVE AND SERVE AND BE A LIGHT OF GODS LOVE. I CAN TESTIFY. I'M A NOBODY WHO WILL TELL EVERY BODY ALL ABOUT THE ONE AND ONLY SOMEBODY WHO LOVES YOUR SOUL AND WANTS YOU TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST SACRIFICE A LOVE SO DEEP AND I CAN'T COMPREHEND BUT I AM GLADLY GIVE OUT ALL FOR OTHER'S AND MY CUP WILL NEVER BE EMPTY

This song sucks and it is selfish. I did my best so Jesus you do the rest carry me Jesus. Who do you think you are to command Jesus to carry you after you do your best. Jesus even said the best are as filthy rags.

My wife and I have seen Mr. Combs several times in concert, he is not only a truly great singer and a man of God he is a fantastic person.

This song reminds me of my pastor. His love for Jesus is amazing and he shows it in pouring out his love for others. He opened a homeless shelter in our church several years ago and these people have not only became part of our church, but part of our family.

Thank you for letting God bless so many people with this song . I'm praying that God will bless you and your family abundantly from above brother Comb. You have the perfect voice for singing this beautiful song. Thank you once again.

Don't forget that "home" is already IN you! Heaven is only Heavenly because God permeates it with His glory. His glory is inside the believer by the Holy Spirit. We endure the world by living by the Spirit within us. Christianity is not a religion but an actual life giving relationship. Live in Him now and death is just a step into the fullness of the Presence you already know well!!

Wonderful song Carry Me Jesus. He sang this when he visit our church at Sutersville Pa. couple weeks ago. He is awesome and wonderful christian singer. Everybody was touch,and crying. And so do i. I love his golden voice and all his songs very meaningful lyrics.
