It was noon when I came home from school for lunch when I first heard my mum singing this song I thought she was making it up. Now I sing this song to my granddaughter. How lovely.

A wonderful version of this classic. Nearly as good as Sinatra himself.

Just so we can clear this up, the song was written by Hoagy Carmichael. Not Nat King Cole. It's an jazz standard.

I love the Nat King Cole version of the song as well, BUT Sinatra did this standard with Harry James in 1939 and had quite a hit with it. Stardust was written in 1927 and was covered by many people way before Nat King Cole covered it. This version that Michael does much resembles Sinatras version in tone, phrasing, and feel.

Michel buble is time for me please please don’t worry honey I love you my friend Michel buble
So, which recording do you prefer? This one? Or Frank Sinatra's version with Tommy Dorsey and the Pied Pipers? Make your pick and discuss it in this comment thread.
