An amazing solo. Michael played so many great ones that it's hard to choose.
Oh wow - my introduction to Brecker was on McCoy's Infinity album where they also played impressions. Seeing video of another take of the same group playing this is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Yes! But his tone on the tenor, so beautiful and rich. Thanks for posting!
question is: was there ever a bad MB solo? I mean ever?
The best Brecker solo of all time is from the Don Grolnick classic “Pools” from the first Steps Ahead album.
I mean, McCoy did pick Mike to play with him! That is a great statement in itself
Fire🔥 I saw Michael at the Manchester Craftsman’s Guild probably a few years after this concert was filmed when he was touring w Joey Calderazzo, James Genus and Tain. The energy was electric from start to finish. Man, I miss Mike.
McCoy crushin’ it too…
This is great, but my favorite is Some Skunk Funk from the 92' Barcelona concert.
Love how McCoy listens in reverence as MB does his licks. Heavenly. ❤
Gli assoli di Michael Brecker sono stati sempre uno piu pazzesco dell'altro...dopo Coltrane il migliore per distacco...Ci manchi..😢
One of Michael’s countless greatest solos
Awesome solo riding on the energy the real Mccoy brought to the table.
RIP M.B 🎷
I think Renaissance man from Mike’s album time is of the essence is truly an incredible song and solo
there where no limits for Mike ! r.i.p!
Genius

Fantastic video!!! Interestingly, I went to Berklee in the 80s with drummer Aaron Scott.
Quite mesmerizing! Thanks Bret for sharing this!
