it wasn't underrated in my generation my man. 30+ yrs old. even though i was living in a 2nd world country, ive had its toys, soundtrack casettes etc. i was living this movie. now on youtube it may seem as it was underrated, but it was HUGe in its time.

I was born in 88 - we were truly lucky to be able to grow up in the 90s - it was the last great era before America morphed into what it is today. Song like this provide so much hope, emotion and encouragement. I pray we get back here one day.

That all comes down to healthy lifestyle and science based medical treatment, the first of which prevents the cancer, the latter which should only be used as a last resort. And by 2030, probably even sonner, AI will be able to recreate any voice, and have it say or sing anything.

This song put me in tears, it embodies the beautiful spirit Disney used to stand for and has since passed away. I can only hope one day we will see a completely new management that actually cares like this again and brings it back to life.

Disney has never been better than they were in the 90's... And sadly it looks like they will never be there again...

It has to do with: A) Getting rid of the talented animators and creators at both Disney Animation and Pixar Studios to make way for mostly female quotas to meet E.S.G. targets to ensure future funding. B) A philosophical shift. No longer is there a desire to entertain families/the audience. Now lecturing the audience and using the films and series a vehicle to deliver social messages to the audience is the primary focus. They believe it is their duty to prioritize social messaging to the exclusion of everything else (such as to entertain and wow audiences).

I'm 40 aswell and grew up with my mom listening to him and Kenny G, I thought it was lame but now as an adult I realized how incredibly fucking gifted that dude was and how he could melt panties all over the world. 😂

This really resonated with me as a child, i found out im autistic last year now i know why i liked this song so much..

Thank you for lighting up my childhood Disney! Sad that younger generations won’t know how marvelous Disney used to be!

Disney has made plenty of amazing movies post 1997 yes the Renaissance was great but there's been plenty of amazing movies post-renaissance and plenty that are being loved over time like Treasure Planet

This is one of Disney's greatest masterpiece and one of Michael Bolton outstanding performance ever he was very lucky to be in the music video and perform this wonderful classic song for Disney's Hercules it is forever a classic song always.

​@Ghostrider-ul7xn It's the fact that the song itself, start to finish, shows a maturation of values for the protagonist. From selfish dreams of heroism and adulation, to selfless love for another that surpasses heroism. It doesn't hurt that Bolton absolutely kills it on an emotional level.

They don't unfortunately. Some of my favourite movie soundtracks are from the 80s. The Rocky IV soundtrack from 1985 is one of my all time favourites.
