Frank Dux has spent most his life being trained by Tanaka to participate in the Kumite, the ultimate martial arts tournament, where participants are seriously injured, even killed. Frank decides to go despite being told by his superiors in the army that he can't because they need him. Two army officers are sent to get him and the trail leads to Hong Kong but Frank eludes them. While Frank advances, he knows that he may have to face Chong Li, the defending champion, who has killed a few participants.

That song and movie takes me back to being a kid
childhood memories. I was too poor to watch in cinema or rent all the films so I would record these films on vcr when they were played on tv. I would watch it then rewind it. Id come home for lunch and watch it while I ate. I didnt watch much van damme films only this one. This is was the precursor to MMA and UFC

one of the biggest failures in the 80´s, to forget this song on the SOUNDTRACK_CD .... AND !!!! one of the best efforts and challenges to re-produce this song with the same Studio-Sound like in the 80´s fears years ago ...... unbelievable fantastic result
