No one likes to see a bloke lose his job but beale's appointment was the wrong decision in the first place. Our club is shooting itself in the foot and has to stop making ludicrous decisions, this whole debacle has put us back an entire season no doubt about it.

I’m glad he’s been sacked again because after what he did to Rangers you need sacking twice or your ability to manage taken away, we got a real manager and have now become top of the league, no coincidence. And I’m sure the Sunderland fans were just getting annoyed with all the Rangers fans warning them what a car salesman he was, the fraud!

I think until Speakman goes then any manager applying for the job won't want to work under our current set up. Speakman has far too much influence into the first teams running.

Honestly I couldn't believe you took him on in the first place. I witnessed the football terrorism known as Bealeball at my club Rangers and I must say he was one of the worst managers in my clubs history along side Le Guen and Caxinha

Why is it we fans can see the flaws, and see what's needed and the owners cannot. We all say it, we need solid experience! That's why the model is flawed. Someone on the Sunderland Banter page I debate with says it's not. Well, it isn't working is it. Youngsters need experience on that pitch to support them, motivate them. O'Nein isn't exactly captain material. I would rather we paid the little money to bring in a solid experienced head coach, problem record in France for example or has beating the odds and finishing 5th/6th. I've done research before and there's quite a lot of managers in France that have done that. I'm not saying some Champions League winner or top 2 club. It brings something different with various tactics and knowledge. We will just get another Beale. Even Mogga was declining. He just brings stability, he cannot push teams further on. So we need better than Mogga too.

I'm happy they've got rid of him now cos I was worried they were gonna wait until the end of the season, however I'm disappointed that we've got to wait until the summer for a new manager and that Dodds is in charge til the end of the season, personally I think it's the wrong decision, it makes more sense now for someone new to come in now to get to the know the players and try and get his ideas across now and if we had done that it would've made pre season a lot more smoother, so all in all happy Beale's gone but going back to Dodds in charge to the end of the season is a waste of time IMO, yes Dodds has a bit more class than and Beale and obviously respects the players and yes he can get the players up for a game however substitution wise he's just as bad as Beale and also going back to Dodds again just shows that there's no ambition at this football club and the fact that they had no plan when they sacked Mowbray, this club is an absolute mess at the moment

One of the main issues with the team is that there's no leader. There's no one to kick the players up the arse when it's needed.

We need to go for a European manager next imo. Top 5 managers 1 Will Still 2 Eric Roy 3 Christian Ilzer 4 Kjetil Knutsen 5 Mark Robbins I do agree we need some experience but tbh all of these managers are good at using young players Average Squad age of those 5 1 Stade Reims 24 year old 2 Stade Brest 25 year old 3 Strum Graz 23 year old 4 Bodo Glimt 24 year old 5 Coventry 26 year old

His track record wasn't great before he was appointed, and the warning signs were there from previous clubs fans comments, plus even our own fans weren't happy And the football on display has rapidly gone downhill. Whether that is down to the tactics he was instilling, or the confidence of the team being knocked we shall never know. I know there is a good football team there just waiting for the button to be pressed and the pent up passion to be released. Dodds and Procter have been given charge until the summer. Don't want Neil back, as he did the dirty on us, and has since found out that the grass isn't greener on the other side when he was sacked by Stoke. We don't want a yes man either, but someone who can be given the title of manager (not head coach), and a free rein over team selection. I believe there is too much say, interference and influence from the hierarchy over who should and should not play. That is why we are in this mess. If the board want us to progress then they should listen to a manager that knows football inside and out. Steve Cooper might be worth a shout 🤔

When the club pays Mowbray and beale for been sacked that money would have got a a good manager but let's hope they have learned a costly lesson when they appoint the next manager my advice for what it's worth you have 4 plus months to get the best man out there don't rush like ye did with the bluffer all talk and no idea. PS Jack Clarkes agent must be short of money some time ago said Jack is really happy at Sunderland now he wants the club to sell him for peanuts surely the club can see through him get another job harte.

If they are not going to get a permanent manager in until the summer, then at least get some ex players in to help the players you have, as there is still a lot to play for this season. They will know what needs to be done.

Loved Mogga as a man, thought his football was brilliant, in game management as how you beat the best though. That was the main issue for me, he was consistently reactive instead of proactive, he wasn't gonna get us promoted.
