The fact that he's that clean and that fast at his age is insane

I saw him at a local guitar clinic years ago. The time flew by, he was so entertaining. Phenomenal guitar player.

I'm a Death Metal kind of guy but I'll always give him the respect he deserves. Melodic, wtf fast, and great writer.

This man is a machine. Playing with the same clarity and agility that made his compositions amazing.

You can measure the respect he has for his audience by his speech. He speaks slowly and distinctly. Nice contrast with his guitar playing.

I've been listening to this guy for years, when asked who I think is the best guitarist around, I tell them MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO. They usually have no clue who he is, then they watch a video and they see why I think he's the best around.

I can't stop listening, that's freakin addictive.

I met him in the 90's. Bunked off school and saw him play live during the day in a small Essex pub :)

MAB so humble and down to hearth, a beautiful kind person.

I been jaming on my ax for years.. Influence b by Rhoads... Van halen..... Jimi... Sakk... Satriani... And especialy my personal favoite mr. Iommi... But when I first seen this guy i said HOLY SHIT!!!!!! He must have made a deal with the devil....lol ... This guy is total master class.. Hes got skills that just cant be taught.. amazing....

Mike was my childhood guitar teacher. I was amazed by Sophie Lloyd and asked her if I could take lessons (she said no). I only realized this week that Mike Batio, who I knew was ambidextrous but never showed off during lessons, was a similar shredder. Wish I had paid closer attention during our lessons!!!

Every time I hear his band rendition tributes I get goosebumps and a smile because I grew up listening to this music. The sweetest guy on the planet

Its awesome he lets the audience get to know him, I loved Nitro way back in the day...They dont realize what awesome treat it is to see a guitarist of his caliber and generation.

Man's a living example of how to combine mastery and humility. The older I get the more I think that those might well be the 2 most important ingredients in becoming wise, in all disciplines.

The fact he loves randy as much as a pleb like me just make him better.

Never have I been so mes mired in my life to listen to and watch guitar as this guy done to me.........now I could watch a drummer forever. This guy had me day dreaming back to my childhood and the hair metal I loved not to mention my love of music and all the talent that all bands and form of music I am so eclectic to. The double guitar really humbles me even though I cannot play any instrument to save my life.... I fully enjoyed watching and listening ... Michael Angelo you have a fan of devotion in me.

When god said all soul that want to be rock and roll stars line up over here, apparently someone got themselves a double dose. I have been playing most of my adult life on and off, so i can really appreciate just how talented this man is , and as good as he is he never speaks ill of another player as in he is not good or as good as he is trust me very few players are any where near his level , way over the top. The closest match for this man in skill would be Glen Campbell , unfortunately we just lost him to alzheimer's recently. Glen had such a love for his music that he played as long as he could under the help of his wonderful daughter , many times he didn't realize that a tune they just played he announced they would be playing next , you see i knew him for entire day when i was a young man , called to do some tree work on his property, and by no real surprise he turned out to be quite a decent human being, absolutely wonderful to be around. I strongly recommend listening to him here on you tube, he will absolutely blow you away with tallant. I remember the day i worked for him ,. it turned out to be the biggest day ever est. and completion of job all in one day just over 5,000 dollars, 3 men 10 hrs. , also did work for Roy Clark , it was a much bigger job but i was there 3 days, seems Glen recommend me, like i said he was an absolute joy to just be around, both he and Roy .THESE GUYS WERE MY FATHERS HEROS he got so jealous when i told him where i worked at all day .

Absolutley stunning a joy to behold

When Michael does tribute style covers of guitar legends, he is one of the few that can blend together a note for note cover of the song/solo while also ad libbing his own little add ons without spoiling the song and still paying tribute in an innovative way. I have never seen anyone cover songs and solos as nicely as he does. unfathomable. and I should add he is so good that he does not need to do covers but he does them in the spirit of paying tribute which takes a lot of love an humility.

Já havia ouvido falar desse tal "MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO", mas nunca imaginei que fosse tão bom, e esse fato de tocar duas guitarras ao mesmo tem é muito loco, gostei demais, só queria ver a parte das duas guitarras mas não conseguia mudar para outro vídeo... Bom demais!!!... (I had heard of this "MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO", but I never imagined it would be so good, and this fact of playing two guitars at the same time is very crazy, I liked it so much, I just wanted to see the part of the two guitars but I couldn't change to another video ... it's very good !!!...)

Acompanho esse "monstro" da guitarra desde o final dos anos 80, nessa época eu brincava de tocar guitarra e cada vez que o assistia tocar (VHS)... tinha vontade de jogar minha seis cordas na parede (Uma Les Paul Giannini comprada no Mappin Praça Ramos de Azevedo)
