This demonstrates Kitts' actual care for Michael. KITT didn't just sit there. He was right on the tail of that ambulance like any loved one. It really humanized the car. Deven was stupid to send him there unarmed. This was a police matter and not the foundation's.

In my eyes; the best episode in Knight Rider. Had everything, action, emotion, a dark vibe, and most importantly a well written story. Too bad it wasn’t the series finally.

Very Fortunate. 🤗 Because KITT🚗🚘 protects Michael

This episode always makes me feel very sad.. I rarely cried when I watched this show (except for all the times KITT was destroyed) but this episode seriously broke me

This episode is good but very dark

This episode is *chef's kiss* Dark for Knight Rider but this scene alone you feel KITT isnt just programmed to save/help michael its like he's human rushing in to protect his friend.

One of just a few continuity things in Knight Rider is that KITT shows no emotions in his voice (except for a few joke moments) until a certain episode at the end of which KITT says 'I don't have feelings', yet once everybody leaves and he stays alone, he talks to himself naming a feeling, and after that starts talking more and more like human.

Remember watching this on a saturday afternoon in 1987 or 1988. I am from Perú and we used to get the series' episodes dubbed to Spanish and with some time delay. This one really shocked me to tears as an 8 year old kid. Years later and with the net, I found out some more details about it and I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that this was the TV show of my life! Thanks Michael and K.I.T.T. "The Scent of the Roses will linger forever" as the Knight Rider's legacy will be.

I've been waiting for this clip! It just hits different especially when you know this episode was supposed to be the season finale, and would have ended up being the finale for the entire show of Univeral didn't make the (what I personally consider a) mistake of airing it mid season. Hasselhoff was also angry about that, lol.

​​@@piotrmalewski8178aka Junkyard Dog Actually he did show signs of emotion during season 1, when he met Karr for the first time, he was unnerved 'sensor echos of his own telemetry' then shocked at the sight of his own twin. Later on there was definitely annoyance at times especially breaking Michael out of jail 😂😂

I don't know how Michael didn't have some major PTSD, first being shot in the face and now almost being fatally wounded.

Remember the episode, "Junk Yard Dog," where KITT was almost destroyed by toxic wastes? Micheal did tell him he relives being shot in the face whenever there's even a bright light in his face or something. He said he never overcame it, it overcame itself. But even he has his limits where I'm betting getting shot brought back that trauma and amplified by nearly dying.

Kitt must have felt so helpless witnessing Michael shot before his optics. Kitt: "Move Michael move any part, please Michael!"😢😢 Then Kitt giving medical advice 😢 even though the paramedics were doing their jobs. I remember watching this episode when it first came out, I was crying for both Michael (being shot), Kitt (feeling helpless and unable to do anything for Michael)

It would be, but the production team messed up the showing order.

An operating theatre scene (4:05) is borrowed from "The Six Million Dollar Man" drama series.

This to me will always be the final episode of the series 😢

I always did like the episode no matter what it was. I always prayed for Michael safety.

Given what KITT was, they should have been able to develop some very effective and slim bulletproof vest. In the first script there Michael was supposed to have electronic implants in his body, thanks to which KITT could read his vital signs. It would have been an interesting touch, if Michael had 'fake death' ability.

I cried my heart out when Michael was shot.I feared we would hear he had died and that there would be no more Michael and KITT.

Durant was such a great villain. He's up there with Garthe, KARR and Zachary.

The show was known to use different cars for all the seasons and they mix and matched all over the place. There was no consistency.😅. I noticed it as well.

Yeah, it's Historically inconsistent.

I have watched this scene many times and it is always an emotional moment. With that said, I could never understand how or why Kitt was telling the paramedics what to do for Michael. How would the paramedics know to listen to KITT? They wouldn't know KITT's value to Michael as Michael was unconsicous. Also, the paramedics would already have the latest tools and knowledge to care for Michael without KITT's help.

I cried too when Michael was shot and when Stevie was murdered,the only thing is why didn't KITT detect Durrant was coming to sabotage the wedding and alert Michael so that he could be stopped before any real harm was done.

Voo Doo Knight should have been called Doo Doo Knight. I wouldn't be surprised if David Hasselhoff himself denounced that episode.

when i saw this episode i said to myself micheal should carry a gun because kitt cant be everywhere and i know he did in the first season when he bust those drug dealers but i can understand they didnt what to get the kids any ideas that where watching the show. somebody stop me if im worng but this is the 3rd time he got shot. if i was micheal and i got shot the 2nd time im gonna want a gun because as i say before kitt cant be everywhere for micheal.

I feel this episode should have been the series finale episode of season 4 in my opinion, just because of how the episode unfolds and ends . This episode should have been the last one of season 4 and the last episode of season 4 should have been placed as the 4th episode, but again just my opinion just my personal preference perspective, no one has to agree lol

Michael should have read KITT's monitor more carefuly-it read "armed and dangerous"...KITT should have picked up the 3 guys in the command center and alerted Michael that 1 man had a shot gun...the other a pistol.....and Michael should have stayed in KITT until police came wearing proof vests!!! Michael should have called for police back-up from inside KITT.....
