For all he knows he is Wapiti but in any case that's not really the point, they're both natives, both suffering from the same hatred and opression. That's why he's helped them before, and of course he'd help them now if for no other reason than all the help he gave them before. He's the one who asked Arthur to get involved in the first place.

He was in the army If you look on his hat you can see his calvary pin He fought the natives before He talked about it in another mission So I think it's hard for him to fight for the enemy

And later Dutch left Arthur to die. He did that twice in the story. F Micah and F Dutch. Both are rats.

Micah didn’t help with anything unless it was a big robbery. He doesn’t care for anyone but himself. Another case was when it was his idea to meet with Colm and Colm kidnapped Arthur. The second Arthur got back to campus Micah didn’t seem to care to see or check if Arthur was okay

Dutch's plan was to cause a war between the government and the natives so that he could get money from the government and escape along with his gang. He didn't much care for the natives, and was willing to let them die. Therefore, i'm sure he gets mad at Arthur because Dutch was already manipulated by Micah.

It's for a multitude of reasons. But the action of simply communing with a Native Tribe isn't what annoyed Dutch in this moment. It's the fact that Arthur had effectively went behind Dutch's back. Normally Arthur would've informed Dutch of a situation like this, but he didn't. And with Micah whispering in his ear, alongside the loss of his friends and family, and the Pinkertons breathing down his neck at every minute, it made Arthur seem like the enemy to Dutch. And of course this delusion was something that Dutch wouldn't come to realize until it was far *too* late.

Dutch was trying to manipulate these people into doing things to help them leave for "Tahiti", and Arthur helping them could go directly against what Dutch was trying to do. It is technically a small betrayal, but the old Dutch wouldn't have ever put Arthur in that situation to begin with.

replayed this mission a few hours ago (this is one of my favorite missions btw) and after the cutscene where Arthur and John look at eachother i got a death screen right after that part and it said charles horse has died😭

When Rains Fall was asking his people to stop made me so upset! The sorrow and sadness in his voice when he spoke really got to me, when Eagle Flies dies in that tent all I had to say when watching it was that he brought this on himself. ❤ 😢

Cool fact, the reason why the natives know everything about the group is because they’ve been following them for a long time. Some missions if you look further and I mean a fare distance you’ll see the natives watching them

The gang did not care bout rains fall only Charles and Arthur did I hate Micah and hate Dutch (hated Dutch since the time of Arthur’s death)

Charles, sadie, and John, (possibly Javier)are the only ones who would have actually rode with arthur

And the fact that Micah had a kind of sarcastic look just to annoy Arthur

Bill’s “and me. I GUeSs” got me dying

This is practically what would happen to the gang if Dutch died instead of Hosea

Dude watching this and I legit am tearing up at the “please…stop” he’s so kind and an amazing father

Peter Blomquist really nailed the character of Micah, my cousin got to meet the voice actors for Sadie, Dutch, Micah and Bill at a convention 2 years ago and said that they were all really nice people but that of the 4 Peter was the biggest sweetheart, and that despite the long line of people waiting for their autograph never once rushed anyone when speaking to him.

It’s crazy how Micah was like what else you been doing behind Dutch’s back like he has to inform Dutch of everything he does like he’s not a grown ass man and like the gang would really survive without Arthur

Rains Fall was probably the one who gets it the worst in the story. In the end he lost his son, his tribe and his land and ends up completely alone. That's heartbreaking

This is why rdr2 is the best game, it’s protagonist ( Arthur )is so loved by the community that some will cry upon his death scene and the antagonist (Micah) is hated by the community because of just how bad he is, even though it’s a game about outlaws. It’s crazy how a game can be good enough for even the community to hate the antagonist

I’m very conflicted whether this would be historically correct. As elders were held with very high respect to native Americans, but then again anger is a strong thing.

I respect Micah as a Video Game character because he's one of the best antagonist ever but as far as that I hate him to death

If you played the first game, this chapter really made you come to hate Dutch. When you find him in RDR1 he’s riling up discontent with natives near tall trees, mostly young and angry men against the wishes of older natives who know what it will lead to, just like he is in this chapter. It really goes to show how fucking awful he is, that in all that time he never learned a thing and is still manipulating the weakest and most vulnerable groups imaginable leading them hand in hand to actual genocidal destruction for his own selfish desire to “live free” in the most megalomaniacal way possible
