Mica Miller Investigation | NEW Video, Audio, and Statement from the Police about FBI Involvement

Mica Miller's body was discovered on April 27th, 2024 in the Lumber River State Park by a kayaker, who had heard a gunshot. The Robeson County Sheriff's Office released a full investigative timeline, and stated that the medical examiner ruled Mica's death as self-inflicted. I called the Sheriff's Office today to clarify if the FBI are investigating Mica's death, or the allegations and circumstances leading up to her death. Following a FOIA request, I was able to obtain the 911 call from the person who found Mica's body, the video surveillance footage from Dick's Pawn Shop and the gas station that Mica visited, and have yet to discuss the detailed timeline from the police with you (31 page PDF). Let's discuss where the case stands today.
"The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office has been in contact with the United States Attorney’s Office and Federal Bureau of Investigation in South Carolina since the early stages of the Mica Miller investigation. Based on the information gathered during the investigation and jurisdiction reasons, the Sheriff’s Office has requested the assistance of both agencies.
The request by the Sheriff’s Office is not related to the cause of death of Mica Miller. Mica Miller's death remains to be declared as a su*c*de.
No other information will be released at this time.
Anyone with information pertaining Miller investigation in South Carolina is asked to contact the Columbia, SC FBI Office at 803-551-4200."

Gisela Mica’s friend, Kyler Marlowe, has been advocating and investigating this whole thing. She has confirmed some of the rumors. For example: the lawyer of JP does own property under a business name with his name attached to the property. It’s very close to where Mica’s body was found. And her father has been to the scene and he stated that there’s a bullet hole in a tree, an unspent round found ejected from the gun, and her body was 40 yards from the gun/scene. Her body showed signs of a struggle. This is all confirmed.

I respect everyone's opinions but hear me out....Speaking from experience please listen to and take into consideration what Micca's family is saying. I know it's "speculation" but the same thing happened to me. An ex was stalking me I warned my family I would never self cancel if it happened it was him. Well it wasn't him, he sent his cousin to follow me to a state park in my hometown. The difference is there was no 911 call and the fact the pewpew jammed and before another could be loaded a family with 2 small children come around the corner on the path. He took off running back up the path and the family stopped to help me. If it weren't for them I would've met the same fate all them years ago. I still keep in touch with them and their children have grown up knowing me as their Aunt.

I went through 14 years and had 2 children with a man who did exactly this. We ran and ran for 2 years going from shelter to shelter and we not just survived but thrived…eventually. This has been devastating to see because when you have been there and know exactly how she is feeling at this moment..:you just wish you could have been there to let her know that she was never alone. That she would survive this and she would become not just a stronger person because of it but that she would smile and laugh again and actually mean it. Mica, I’m so sorry. I gave up law school for my ex but I went long enough to know that yes while the FBI may be investigating charges from allegations of fraud that happened BEFORE she was stolen from the world but now that she has been they have access to EVERYTHING they may haven’t had before and they will dump her phone, emails, work calls, texts, GPS in her car and phone all of it is evidence. They will then use the tiniest thing and get a warrant for that POS satanic pos ex of hers and dump everything he has he can’t erase everything and he will go down for everything. 😭😭😭😭

I’m glad you got away and were able to get you and your children safe. When I ran, I had no children. But I still had to run and move and keep my head down for 5 years before his family broke down and had him committed. They were excusing his behavior up to that point. Once he was locked up, I was able to move and he lost my trail. Multiple restraining orders over multiple states, utter financial ruin, crushing PTSD that made getting back to anything resembling normal seem impossible. I don’t think people understand or realize how hard it is to escape a stalker-abuser. Emotionally, psychologically, and logistically. And how little the law can do to protect you. I understand Mica feeling trapped, but I also see her as strong and see her as someone who was doing bigger and bigger moves to get away from him. I want to know what happened in the 48hrs from her filing for separate support and maintenance AND divorce AND a restraining order and the day she died. Those filings are someone who is still fighting and wants to live and get away - and sees the light at the end of the tunnel. But I know how intrusive thoughts can be… maybe she let them win… or maybe we will never know because JP wanted to believe it was “self induced” and refused to get an autopsy, then rushed cremation - which isn’t sus at all.

So, I saw a dude in black pants, black short sleeve shirt with a red stripe. He cruises in wanders around slowly and just wanders around. As it looks like she's getting her purchase finished up he walks out. On both angles he just moseys. I saw him touch one thing. I have my own theory on this thing. She's exhausted, but I believe this purchase is strictly for personal protection purposes. I think she was lured there. I think she had a cult member from Solid Rock following behind. We know all about the trackers. I think she was coerced in to making that call.

It's also possible she met with someone someplace else, hence getting the weapon before said meeting. We only assume she drove her own car to the park. We don't know who drove it there, but she could have been taken to this location - a full mile from her parked car - by boat. And then someone else put her car there and got out of there also by boat.

I had this thought too but didn’t notice the guy’s timing. What you said makes sense. Also, I find it weird that she didn’t leave a goodbye text, maybe unsent, for her family to find that explains things. Or a voice memo or something written in her notes app. People who snap and commit suicide don’t write notes bc there isn’t time. But people who (supposedly) plan it out like we (supposedly) see here, DO write some kind of goodbye or explanation to their loved ones.

Also, if the 911 call is legit, she wanted her family to be able to find her body. So that doesn’t make sense that she would leave her car and stuff and then wade so far down the way in the water to do it. If she was concerned about her family finding her, she wouldn’t want it to be hard for them to retrieve her.

I believe her father is correct. She was there to buy the gun for self protection. She does look sad and tired, but she also was swaying to some music that was playing in the store. I do the same thing if I hear a song I like while I am waiting for service. She had a new job and was on her way to work (the job was in a bar or restaurant so she had to tie her hair back). She had a sandwich prepared for later that day (on seat of car) but there was no note to say goodbye to family or loved ones. She was a loving person-I don’t think she would leave without saying goodbye in a note to ease their pain. Everything I have seen says she was not planning to kill herself. We may never know the truth (unless someone confesses, but I do not see a woman preparing to shoot herself within an hour. I have worked in the mental health field for decades. I see her as calm, focused, nervous about being followed but on her way to work. I wish they could pull some traffic camera videos to see if she stopped anywhere else or if she was intercepted by someone.

I 100% agree with you. People are reading way too much into her emotional state based on this video. (She's been crying all night, or for days, she resigned herself she looks so sad but calm, etc). I would not be jumping up and down and all smiley and happy if it got to the point where I now felt I needed to follow through and buy a weapon for protection, as she had said she was going to do. She is calm, and alert, friendly and smiling, patient and looking around while waiting. I will also add that she supposedly called 911 for the sole purpose of making it easier for her family to find her. If she is that considerate of the feelings of others, and doesn't want to put her family to more trouble than is absolutely necessary, she would have done this at home. Or better yet, not done it at all. Is there any proof she was the one who drove her vehicle to that location? Was she intercepted by someone?

Also, what about the spent casings and the bullet in the tree at the scene. Perhaps JP had her followed. Things just don't add up. I'm not giving him or the police a pass on this. Not only that, he could have drugged her explaining the way she appeared. Did you see the video where she spoke about abuse and being given illegal drugs? She purposely made an obvious expression in reference to that point. He's is the crazy one.

37:36 oh god my heart just shatters…as a human, as a woman, as a mother to little girls, as a best friend to someone who ended their own life, as someone who has struggled with suicidal ideation…watching her there, trying to smile and engage with the staff, knowing what will happen later…all I can think of is the millions of moments she lived outside of this situation…her first steps, first laugh, first words - all the times she must’ve giggled with friends as a little girl, all the birthday parties, all the days spent running in the sunshine, all the inside jokes she must’ve had, all the nuances of her that made up her entire life and entire self - best friends, family members, favorite foods and colors and songs; treasured memories and books and toys; all of the hobbies she must’ve had over the years, the trips she took, the little luxuries she enjoyed - maybe singing or dancing or drawing or animals or gardening or reading…all of the things that made her an unrepeatable human being…all building to these last hours…I’m so sorry she felt this was her only way through the pain she suffered. My soul aches for her, for all the days she won’t have now, for all the people who will long for one more phone call, one more hug, one more chance to see her face; for all the dreams she won’t fulfill, all the hearts she won’t have the chance to touch…it is just devastating to see this and know there’s no way to intervene and stop her. My heart absolutely weeps for her and all of her loved ones. This is a kind of loss that is so complex and unmooring and harrowing and overwhelming. I just hope they can all, someday, find some kind of peace. This kind of loss is so hard to bear. ❤

Is it the same truck that was at the pawn shop? update to my comment - and with further watching, there is no correlation that I can see. The phone evidently did NOT or give gps coordinates to her found location but rather across the water and some distance down the shoreline. She was also a one mile walk into the park from the location of her car. Another person said it pinged in the area where that lawyer friend of JP's lived, very near to his address. My question is does Thomas Winslow have property on the shore and does he own a boat? Could someone else have parked her car? I'm thinking the AI phone call is a viable possibility particularly since Winslow has been involved with AI tech for many years now.

For those saying she looked sad or empty in this video (though at times she's laughing and talking in a jovial manner with the clerks) ... well, that doesn't necessarily prove that she committed suicide ... IF she was buying the gun for protection, it meant she knew her safety was at an increased risk, so that would cause a tremendous amount of stress for any woman, which would explain the different looks she has in this video.

  • @MovingAlong742

Exactly. She looks sad, but calm, but is still responsive in a positive way to those around her. Why? Well, she's being stalked and threatened, and that's why she's buying a gun. Too many people instantly jump to the assumption that it means she had made her plan for self-harm and was just taking the final step to do so.

@@MovingAlong742 Yes. Agree. I don't believe she committed suicide, based on her recent videos, those around her who said she was upbeat about the future, etc. She looked like a woman who was scared for her life and getting protection. Of course we don't yet know exactly why she went to the state park, but one of my theories is that he threatened to harm her family in some way unless she agreed to meet him at the park, maybe on the pretense of having some quiet time together to try and work things out or something like that ... and then when she got there, things went very bad and he used her own gun to kill her. I just do not believe she would have travelled to another state, gone to a park she allegedly had never been to before, walk off into the woods, and then go INTO the lake to kill herself with a gun.

@@MovingAlong742 Hi, I hope you get this reply because YT randomly prevents some replies from posting, for some reason. This is SUCH a mystery, isn't it? I'm also caught up in the "disappearance" of Kate the future Queen (145 days as of today) and there are so many questions with both of these mysteries. Yes, you're right, we ARE assuming that, aren't we?? As much as I've read and the thought I've given to this, I just assumed she parked her car there and walked into the woods. Thanks for broaching this valid point ... it adds another layer. Yes, your theory about a boat seems plausible. One thing I don't know is whether there were many people in that area. I heard the fisherman's account of hearing her cries (I just do NOT believe a woman would be crying out in the woods loud enough for others to hear her if she was about to kill herself but she would if she was about to BE killed). Do we know if she went straight from the gas station to the park? I may have missed this in the video ... but are there any cameras in the park area? My guess is no but I wonder about that. So we both believe she bought the gun for protection ... do you also think he could have gotten her to come up there by maybe threatening to harm her family? Do you believe his alibi of being with the other woman? Do you think the black truck in the video of her at the gas station is related at all?

  • @MovingAlong742

@@qso3566 I agree with your comments on the crying. Seems doubtful to me that she would have cried at that point, or that she was heard by anyone unless she was screaming in an agonized way that might have sounded like crying. Seems to be a lot of small boats in that area throughout the day, including the man who reported the gunshot who evidently also stated he encountered a couple (man and woman) in a boat leaving the area right behind him. He asked "did you hear the gunshot" they said "yes" and kept going. Then the man in the kayak who found her body. Wonder how many more were on that river that day? I haven't made up my mind about that truck. Right now I'm google mapping Mica's route, to see if travel time and distances align with the time stamps we have been given. Getting a street view of that gas station was helpful. I thought perhaps she had gone to that side of the building to use a restroom or something but nope... nothing like that over there. Nothing of interest to a customer except garbage cans. Gotta watch that video a couple more times, just observe, see what I see. I haven't yet delved into JP's alibi, but my set point on that man is to assume everything coming out of his mouth is a lie and the onus is on him to prove me wrong. It is VERY strange that on day one the cops had a presentation to prove his alibi to the public. Cops NEVER do that sort of thing. EVER. It tells me he has got connections and they've gone well out of their way to protect JP. If there is a photo of JP at some other location then I'll believe it. But until then, he has NO proof he was there except his claim and others who are Enabling him. He's got a lot of Enablers in his family, in his church, and it would seem in law enforcement as well. Hear tell Mica had a terrible time trying to find a divorce attorney. No one wanted to represent her because of all JP's many and powerful connections. He's got a lot of money! Anyway, it's fun to hear your thoughts. Seems we're in the minority on this channel. LOL

The first thing I noticed when I heard the 911 call is how calm she was, almost robotic. I didnt seem to me that this was a person that was about to commit suicide. And having heard her speak, how she spoke of God and how much she knew, how involved she was, she had to have known the implications. I imagine that she would have been crying, sobbing, at the prospect of what she was about to do. She looks sad but not depressed, she looks worried! If you noticed at one point she was singing in her head, she was a singer, she had God's praises in her head. I dont buy it, I dont think it was her. I think this was a well planned set up to get rid of her. I could be wrong. Only God, the pastor and Mica know what happned, but my guts tell me she didn't do it.

I agree with you. Two things: if you've made the decision to do this, you ain't sad. You're content, relaxed, at peace. Been there myself, enough said. Her voice reflected stress and confusion, not peace and confidence. Secondly, the only reason she called 911 at all was to ensure her family could find her. If that was soooooo important.... why not just do this at home where her family can easily find her? If her top priority is to ensure her family is put to the least amount of trouble possible in the situation? - She'd be at home. She'd leave a letter. She would have written goodbye and I love you in her journal.... which I hear is missing. The pieces do not add up to a woman who chose to remove herself from the planet, and most especially in this manner and in this location, in my opinion.

Several things don't add up to me. Yeah if her big concern was for her family to find her, the only reason she would've called 911, she would've left a note and done it at home. Also, she calls 911 because she wants her family to find her, then she blows herself away in the WATER????? How does that make sense?? Why would she want her family to find her? Wouldn't she want the police to find her? Then they could notify her family. It's rather cold hearted to want your family to find you, but not leave them a note of explanation. Something. She would've known they would be confused and forever wonder if JP did it! Who would leave their family in such agony, forever trying to find the evidence, but you CARE enough to want them to find your body? Honestly, it sounds more like what something JP would want. To hurt her family. He would want them to find her body to cause the most pain. I can't deny the evidence is strong that she did this. But I think they need to dot some i's and cross some t's before I'll rest about it. Imagine how her family feels!! Did she not think of how horrible this would be for them? They need to show pictures of JP at the very public place he was at. I saw a man who was convicted of something and they would not believe him until they found a picture of him at the ball game. They put out a public request for pics. They got one. Why haven't they done that ?? WHY DID THEY LET HIM CREMATE HER SO FAST? THEY HAD THE POWER TO PUT A HOLD ON IT! This is exceptionally concerning. Mica knew he would have control of her body and that he would use that to hurt her family. Yet she said she wanted them to find her body. JP was still in charge, her family had no control. So she would've at least left them a note to comfort them. I'll never believe she didn't leave a note. Then there's the sandwich, obviously meant she planned to be alive to eat it. I noticed she leaves her car door unlocked when she goes in the store. 👀 I'll believe in the science once they get enough of it out there that removes reasonable doubt. They haven't done that yet, imo. 🫶🏼

Seemingly there were bullets in the tree nearby and unspent casings were in the same area. Could it be possible that this incident occurred there and then placed in water afterwards. Thankyou for being honest and factual with Micas case. So unfair that people are taking away from the seriousness of the situation and pure turmoil Mica was in dealing with JP! Mica deserves the true facts about her life and death to be focused on and how to help others that could be in her situation! RIP Mica ❤️
