    Don't know why people are saying he's a prick. He's going through a tough time show some respect. He's put a message to show how he feels and he's lyrically killed it again.

    Real talk. The drugs don't help. Winners don't take drugs. The weed gave me psychosis and had me trippin. My delusions were so subtle that I didn't realise I was having issues til I heard voices. Even then I kept it to myself. FUCK drugs

    For all you saying this is a publicity stunt need to reconsider. If you’ve been through depression and anxiety and torment, you would know that you will do anything that comes into your head to find a coping mechanism. Plus even if it was a publicity stunt, a lot of you wouldn’t even listen if it wasn’t done because you’re so lost up and lost in the sauce listening to other music passively which does more harm than good for you. This man is here showing you the reality behind what some of us actually really experience and the truth is 100% of you have experienced depression and anxiety at least once in your lives. After all, I grew up on his music and have had a similar childhood and been educated through his music from very young and I am proud to see how he’s using the negative to turn it into positive in hope for extending awareness for mental health.

    I disagree. Mic would have got recognition for this without pretending to commit suicide. He is talented enough to make powerful thought provoking music without irresponsible use of social media. Joyner Lucas released "I'm sorry" which is arguably one of his biggest songs to date and that touched ppl cos of the message and emotion in it. Mic didn't need to pull a stunt like that at all

    I revisit this song at least once a week. Just to feel the emotions I once knew. It shows me theres always someone to relate and it shows me the change in myself with each listen. Realest artist. We've all done bad and good but not many can poetically voice their struggles. People judge because he exposes sides to himself people are scared to see in themselves.

    When this was first released I had just lost my brother to suicide and my mum to alcoholism. This track reminds me of something my brother potentially went through and also how I was feeling at the time this was dropped. I was very lost at the time and this song reminded me that there is light at the end of the tunnel and reasons to stay alive when I really didn't want to. Big up Mic. One of the most underrated rappers from the UK.

  • @davidmilbourne6855
    @davidmilbourne68555 жыл бұрын

    I relate to this song so much as anyone who suffers with depression knows how hard it is to deal with on a daily basis. Just one thought or action could push you over the edge. We live in a society that doesn't want to help. People think sufferers are just out for attention most actually just want help but don't know how to receive that help. Anti depressants don't work councillors don't work. Suicide in the UK alone for males is so high. We need to help each other and prevent this from happening. I have 3 kids and I genuinely say they are the only reason I live for and try my best and that makes the pain worthwhile just seeing my kids happiness. know one knows how each individual feels so treat everyone with the respect they deserve at the end of the day we are all equal and all need help once in a while. I am glad Mic Righteous has the courage to talk openly about his mental health it enables us to appreciate and relate to what we go through. Thank you Mic Righteous and if we could all help someone in need it may stop a loss of any individual as we all have a purpose in life.

    Qwerty ! Why shouldn't they? I know they don't do it for anyone else and I'm curious to know why they don't. And as for your Mic comment, he didn't fake his suicide. He put out a series of tweets to show he has mental health and that it's alright to open up and not keep it bottled inside. Was all to raise awareness, which it has. The RIP tweet was put out by his friend, which was bad taste looking back on it now. As now it's clear the tweet was regarding the name Rightious is over.

    I believe it is a reflection of moments he's felt suicidal. His tweets is consistent with the promo of this single. This songs is a spin-off and a homage to Eminem's "Stan" which featured Dido and was released in 2000. Controversial as it were, he garnered the attention necessary to highlight a very serious issue "MENTAL HEALTH". Mike is also letting us know of his Bipolar by supplanting the surname "Righteous" for "Reckless".

    Kurt Hulme but you can write lyrics without them being fully true or just complete fiction right ?... so why is this any different. I mean he’s raping about something that happens to everyday people. people top themselves everyday and call the ambulance straight after, it’s called a cry for help bit like what I feel from this and others do it as they don’t want to be here anymore. All I’m saying is he has a talent and thank god he didn’t act on them thoughts aye. I’m not saying he’s perfect and deals with things correctly but then again who does? Especially in a low frame of mind all I’m saying is clearly there is signs of someone at their lowest it’s not right to bring people down which could possibly push an awful outcome :( . I just see this as bringing awareness to what depression does and can push people too?. And awareness to how he is feeling in general. I think maybe it’s hit a nerve with a few people from their own experiences maybe. Doesn’t make him a bad person.

    Yeah mental health is serious. Do you guys understand how much pressure some of these underrated rappers get? No deals, no recognition they deserve. On top of that the promotion deals are whack, meaning no money. KZread ain't lifting off. Money is shit, he's dedicated to music and writing it. Don't forget his acting career he went down. Still getting no recognition he deserves. He really needs these mili views and us supportive fans buying his albums instead of buying and supporting all these shit lyrical rappers that make no sense and rap about the same shit in every track they make.

    That's it... leave a negative comment on someones video that's clearly suffering with mental health issues. Why's this any different from the songs Eminem made? Talking about killing members of his family and himself, regardless of whether it's true if you listen to the lyrics, he's spreading awareness.

    Deep from Mic. Think the tweet was necessary, I mean the song is about mental health and suicidal notions. It’s not like he’s saying “I’m going to kill my self” outright. Not comparable to Geko in the slightest.

    The coldness of the people criticising Mic for having his own issues and the cynicism of assuming it's promo for this track is just unreal. This is artistic, hits a clear and important message by the end and more so is absolute fucking lyrical brilliance. This song was probably great theray and release for him as it no doubt will be to others struggling with life. Great to see new tracks dropping again.
