Tranquill is not the problem on this team, that’s for sure. They played incredibly well for the amount of injuries they have. If Herbert hadn’t been taken out due to the penalty, I believe they would have gotten that SUPER important touchdown. Congrats to him on the impending childbirth - that’s the good that was about to happen!

Not even mad after that loss. They played hard but we didn't have some of our top players and that makes a huge difference,

Drew is getting better each game plays his position really well , as for the game Defense held fair but can be better due to miss tackles

Man that sounded like two heavyweights fighting. Nothing but body shots all fight

These don't hit the same after a loss

People forget he had a huge injury in College and was a Safety, was still able to get 75 tackles his rookie year after only starting 3 games, missed his entire 2nd season, went through how many defensive scheme changes. This is his breakout year!!!

As a chiefs fan Im so glad we swooped in and stole him. Much respect to you though. Always love the CH CH rivalry

All these “weapons” the 49ers had and the chargers defense kept it close

So sad this team has so much potential and talent like Drew Tranquil and Derwin James with a young phenom QB but failed to get an experienced winning head coach to help elevate this team. Staley, Lombardi inexperienced have derailed this talented team’s season with non awareness bad poor decision play calling Staley growing pains and OC Lombardi predictable play calling have put this team in difficult positions especially the defense always on the field with constant offense 3 & out predictable play calling .

We can still save this talented team most star players r in contract for the next several year’s. We need a experienced winning head coaching & staff “All In” to help elevate this team and we need to put Herbert 1st because without him we reset for many year’s. We need to not take Herbert for granted and give him the best situation for him to keep being more successful. Get plenty of good healthy Offensive linemen to help protect Herbert and keep him healthy. Hire Sean Peyton then sign some WRs with downfield speed that can be utilized properly with Herbert cannon arm and Draft properly and smart get player’s that will actually make a difference on the field and stop wasting roster spots on players like Chase Daniels. We need more LBs that can help with Run and Pass defense.
