The job of a referee is one of the most difficult in all of sports. They must support tremendous pressure while receiving constant inputs from the coaches on the sidelines, the players on the court and also the fans in the stands.
During the Round 29 meeting in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague between Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, the officials were, perhaps unsurprisingly, at the center of it all.
Now, you can, step into the action by hearing the three referees from that Round 29 game - Miguel Angel Perez, Robert Vyklicky and Ioannis Foufis - enjoy some banter with some of the players before watching how they called the game on the floor. There were certain disagreements with some players, as well as some laughs along the way. All the while, the protagonists were never shy about voicing opinions to the officials.
