This sequence is as powerful now as it was then. Miami Vice. Always.

I come back to this every few years. Charging down to the Bahamas in the boat to get the dealer that killed Tubbs' brother. This show was incredible. This scene and music took up 5-10 minutes and then on the backend they have a boat ride back to miami with Tina Turner's "whats love got to do with it" because Rico is heartbroken about the dealer's daughter. So good.

Wellcraft Scarab.

Man, brings me back to my youth. The things that dreams are made of. 30 years later and I start dreaming all over again just watching.

This Miami Vice series is iconic just like Crocket and Tubs...still listen this soundtrack and see the dvds in 2024....am i a legend??? 😂😂😂

This was the first scene I ever saw of the series back in October of '84. I didn't even realize it was a TV show. I was watching someone else's TV and saw this playing and thought it was a film. It didn't feel like "formula" TV cop shows of thne 1980s (like Hunter). This had texture. It had mood. I was sold. Miami vice was in the process of redefining television fare.

I remember an interview Don Johnson did, and he was asked if there were any scenes he hated doing. He said it was this sequence, the waves beat them up pretty good and they got seasick as well. But the director got the shots they needed for the show.

Just watched a Michael Mann movie called Manhunter. Came out before the Silence of the lambs. He did a great job on this movie. Lot of good characters, even some from Miami Vice. I enjoyed it, check it out people.

This show was well directed, produced and the actors were excellent! I miss this. I can't even watch TV today. Thanks for bringing back some great TV memories!!!

If you have Peacock, you can relive the entire series. Miami Vice is on Peacock. Including the long lost Evan episode.

Nowadays drones images doesn't impressed young people, as these over a board... But in 80's it was by an helicopter and we said wow!!!

This show was deadly. Even the brothers in the hood knew this show. Wish I could get all the episodes uncut in HD.

I think this is the best scene of miami vice ever; voices on the background and crockett and tubbs going to bahamas with the scarab, amazing really, this scene is fantastic; I never get tired to watch this video again and again

Watched this when I was 7 years old - ever since I have been nuts over boats, water, cars... and here I am 32 years later still in awe.

The Daytona had "In The Air Tonight"... the Scarab had "Voices". Both are inseparable in my mind.

Miami Vice changed television by entertaining ALL of our senses with all of our vices...it was BRILLIANT!

Still rocks, it was perfect for this episode.

Blasted down sydney harbour in a boat just like this listening to the stones and i was thinking about Miami Vice , funny that what a great show

Slow motion boat scenes and that song = absolute perfection. I only wish Vice had some out when hd widescreen was out. Imagine?

This is badass….the collection of drama and the music…..those of us that were glued to the TV on Fridays at 10:00 miss the masterpiece of Miami Vice…..we were all hooked……the scene just before this Tubbs says “ you heard right “ …..referring to his brother in New York……Calderone was a marked man !

Love these longer boat scenes, its amazing how cool that scarab looks even today, todays boats would blow this away in top speed but it is still a very cool offshore straight deep V hull.

At 10PM Miami Vice would come on. in 1985-1987. i worked night shift and would watch the first 15 min of each show Friday nights. Then take off to work 10:15pm. At one point i'm almost positive i called out sick to watch
