I-95 goes from Miami to the Canadian border. US-1 goes from Mile Marker 0 in Key West to the Canadian border. Maybe he did it purposely, but you could have jumped onto the Turnpike right after the Golden Glades Interchange.

More specifically, both Rte 95 and Route 1 start in Maine at the Canadian border.

At 4:00 he explains why he kept on 95. Saved $5 on tolls by hitting the pike at Ft. Pierce vs the Glades.

It is August in South Florida near the coast. It can rain anytime literally.

I used to drive a truck and had the East Coast route as far south as Boynton Beach I tried the turnpike from Fort Pierce versus 95 to the 528. I always made better time taking 95 to the 528. If you had gone that way you would have seen the new rail construction for brightline runs right alongside the 528

The 95 to FL Turnpike having you take a local road is similar to approaching 295 from State Highway 1 in Delaware except the distance is greater between the two on the local road in Delaware vs. Florida. I know this cause I know the back way via US Hwy 50 and US Hwy 301 combination to get from Annapolis, Maryland to Delaware.

You can save an additional 3 dollars by taking 95 up to Vero and taking 60 across to Yeehaw. There is no real mileage difference between the two.

That was a smooth driver on state 95 . I can see how alot of people can loose their lives , but it definitely poor driving. Thanks for explaining the alternative route and how the road tolls works . It does make a huge difference in price , today drive proves how you can save time 45mins is quite alot . Thanks for the information 👍 and the drive AK . Safe travels everyone.

Golden Glades also known as malfunction junction.

Technically Disney is in the Orlando metro area but several other cities are around Orlando proper. The main cities are Orlando, Sanford, apopka, Daytona, and plant city. The closest city to Disney is celebration or Haines city.

daytona is not part of the orlando metro, it ends north at sanford

Enjoying watching the ride from Miami to Orlando. I don't know if this is allowed or not but I wanted to tell you really excited about brightline there is a KZread channel called the roaming rail fan he has construction updates on the bright line system from Orlando to Miami thought you might enjoy that

Why did you cut off the Rest area? I dont refer to your private moments. Seeing every part is like co-driving, co-travelling. Its very real in a good way.

hey what camera do u use

We call it simply the turnpike. You want to take that up to Apopka then go off that onto 436 or 434. Then jump onto I-4. The 408 is a pain as it’s crash city if you don’t watch yourself and what is around you. I literally live on that 434 and 436 intersection and it’s no cake walk but you can jump onto the interstate very quickly.
