OUTSTANDING videos man, I was there 1st time 1960. Stayed at Hotel Versailles. (no longer) Saw the floor show at Place Pigalle. (no longer). Thanks for sharing.

I love your videos We just drove by Barry Gibbs to wave at him🤪he lives near bal harbor. We stay in naples for the winter, drive 41 over then to Barrys laugh out loud.. then A1A as far as we can go in fla..

Everything looks so F'n different from when I lived in Miami, ('80-'87) South Miami Beach then Biscayne & 61st- 63rd on the bayside (Banyan Bay) The island you went to the day before...why do you think they call it Star Island ? LOL 52:14 Don't worry, they're just shooting an episode of Miami Vice. How do they get to those boats ? Metro-Dingy ! Looks like I get one point for recognizing the Convention Center, though it really looks different than in the 80's. Bee section...Ampi-pens sold separately ! You should see the massive Banyan tree on the property of Banyan Bay apartments (if it's still there). Don't forget the Eden Roc hotel next to the Fountainbleau hotel, every bit as famous and historic. Neil Young put it in a song that he recorded in Miami. So what do you think ? Entrance to FB hotel looks more like an airline terminal wouldn't you say ? Damn impressive !Dude ! you just walked right in front of the Eden Roc. Yeah ! Surely the only place you will find as many exotic cars will be Beverly Hills or Bel Air. Back in the day we used to rent Jet-Skis and ride in the water to your left. It was a trip to jump the wakes of the yachts as they cruised by. Was thinking you looked to young to have experience Miami Vice. LOL You mean no told you it showers almost every afternoon in Miami, live and learn. Sharks ? Well they do have to eat. Cats used to dominate all of South Beach. You never saw so many stray cats in your life.

Even more different than the 70s...used to be so nice. If he didn't say that was the Hilton how the hell would anyone know? Ugly boring balding. Venetian causeway/star island beautiful. I used to get some great almond croissants at a bakery in Sans Souci.

Spent so much time watching your videos. Am at 2hr 20 and my heart is pounding to see if you are going to show the Fontainebleu Hotel. I had my honeymoon with my late Italian hisband there many moons ago. We flew in to NYC first from Milan, Italy. Been to Key West too. Enjoying so much this Miami videos of you, thank you.

Rode out your entire walk with you and I have to say this is the most enjoyable thing I have ever experienced on You Tube. I can't tell you thanks enough for the memories of my years in Miami. I was having so much fun walking along with you I could not keep from commenting the whole way, we're talking countless edits. If I don't hear anything back from you , no sweat. I had fun and that's what really counts, I wish I could donate but it's not possible with my budget. This is a cool page and I will check out more of it.

@58 minutes, that's actually not a big boat. You should see the big ones. That first hour + is my daily walk!

Hope you didn't have to walk from the Design District to where you began this video. When I lived there that walk would have taken one through some uncomfortable areas. "Look at the size of that boat there." (Yeah, looks like a Carnival cruises vessel) You found the "one" mailbox, now see if you can find the "one" telephone booth ! haha You intend to go north to Bal Harbor, but you need to keep bearing east untill you sight the ocean...or what's all this really for ? Just say'n ! Ocean Drive Blvd. or bust ! 1:58:48 waterfront path/cool ? No, "cool" was the day I watched Miami Vice film the speed boats racing up that canal just to your left ! That was definitely most bad-ass.The only thing more bad-ass was watching "same" film the Ferrari and Lamborghini chase scene on the Venetian causeway. Both scenes can be found in episodes of MV. 2:02:45 yay...I was waiting to hear you say that ! Actually, you should have included South Beach (Art Deco district) in your itinerary. I stayed there at the Waves Hotel my first year in Miami. The Atlantic Ocean was my front yard. LOL 2:04:17 Probley says Miami Beach police will arrest the _hit out of anyone caught trespassing on this site. 2:04:55 For the record...Miami Vice filmed EVERYWHERE ! Although everything looked vastly different back then, since you began this excursion you have traversed many locations where they shot and even a few that no longer even bare a fraction of resemblance. I would wake up, get on my Moped and go find the production trailers parked all together wherever and just camp all day...or untill they ran us off. Don't stop at Collins, continue straight to Ocean Drive and the Boardwalk. Seriously ! The buildings you are walking past are Art Deco, notice the change in architecture. Hint... Pastel colors, rounded corners, scaloped moldings ect. Once you turn north, it slowly fades out and the glass and steel take over. Ha, tell your gimbal to suck it up, it's called ocean breeze and it's 99% the reason to be there. My apologies, was not aware of the major changes to Ocean Drive. You probley do have to walk up Collins now. Sorry, and what a disappointment. I guess it's true, nothing remains the same forever. I wonder if the beach at 79th street is still topless. Dude ! Dark socks ? haha The "natives" know you're a tourist. Just pulled Google maps up on my phone and discovered Ocean Drive ends at 15th street and from there it's back to Collins (A1A), f'n progress, not always for the best. 2:42:54 Bike flashmob...beats the hell out'a the biker mob that posted on you tube from Miami. You talk about a total takeover of the streets, I have never seen anything that affected me so much. The epitome of lawlessness. Total disregard for everything and everyone.

No one who live in Miami Beach drives a budget car. It's commonplace to see a $1000,000 plus car in Miami Beach that's why they're comfortable driving their car in Miami Beach, I bet if the drives of those $1000,000 cars would dive them in Hialeah they would feel out of place. Hey! big thanks to Action Kid, did not know that clicks existed in the elte class. Those who sell home in expensive areas probably have more than one home and would not want to live next to a Trump like character.....lol 😀
